Oh Jeff challenge

The entries

Lichtenstein, Oh Jeff I love you, 1964, detail

These stories have been submitted to the:

Oh Jeff flash fiction/poetry challenge

Stories and poems are listed in chronological order of submission and include a link to the story where there is one. Where the entry is made as a comment on the challenge story, it has been included, verbatim, below.

I am delighted but a little overwhelmed by the number of entries and their quality, originality and variety, particularly where authors have submitted more than one. Entry is open until Dec 21, when I will add any final entries to this list and then read through all of the entries again to draw up a shortlist. I will then work out some criteria for selection. Please to note that this is a fun challenge about story telling in verse and prose and so criteria will not included 'literary merit.' Have fun and focus on the story. The educational value of this exercise is to practice writing with economy, delivering with impact and editing with assertiveness and creativity.

Please visit/read the entries and add your comments. If you would like to enter, please go to:
