Barbara J Iversen, also known as Babs Iverson, lives in Texas and loves her grandkids to the moon and back. After writing one story, she found that writing has many benefits especially during a pandemic and a Texas-size Arctic Blast.

ARCTIC BLAST
It's January. It's Winter. It's that time of the year when it snows. Except, snow rarely descends and covers the Dallas, Ft Worth area. Yet, the area is known for its occasional Arctic blast ice storms. Arctic blasts with ice storms are dreaded. Snow is a hundred percent better than sleet and ice.

Dear Dallas Mavericks, Wow! Here we go again! October 24th was the start of the new 2024-2025 NBA season. During the 2023-2024 season, the thought of going all the way and winning the NBA championship was exciting, exhilarating, and thrilling. If people weren't fans at the beginning of last year's seasons, they were by the end creating a sports tsunami.
