-Oh, Jeff... I love you too...but… the cancer is back. I can't bear for you to watch me whittle away to nothing. You deserve a healthier partner, one you can eventually marry and grow old with.... Go find her, Jeff. She's out there waiting for you. Think of me as a dying butterfly... one you used to know-

-But Genevieve! What will become of our dreams of climbing to impossible heights where our love touches the stars? I…I know what this is about... This has nothing to do with the cancer. You're going back to him, aren't you?-

"Hey, mom! Can I borrow ten-"

"Shhh Shhh Shhh! Genevieve is about to get caught in a lie!"

"Oh my god! You and these soap operas... Wait! I don't remember Jeff being so buff!"

“He’s such a player, Laurie. But he can come over anytime he wants!"

"Okay... scoot on over and tell me more about this, Jeff person. Still gonna need to borrow ten bucks, though."

Oh I love this twist on the prompt. All the Jeff’s have sounded very much like soap characters. Great work.

This story is truly captivating. It makes me think about how every aspect of our living spaces can contribute to a better quality of life. Just like a well-told story has different elements that come together harmoniously, a home needs the right components too. For example, the doors we choose play a crucial role. Have you considered WPC doors? You can find amazing WPC doors at https://www.zonledoors.com/wpc.html. These doors are not only stylish and durable but also offer great functionality. They can enhance the overall look and feel of your home while providing excellent insulation and security. It's like adding a perfect chapter to the story of your home.

Fabulous and original take on the challenge, Lamar. Never a fan of soap I have found, over the decades, that all normal people are really into them. You really captured this feeling of involvement and investment. Deserved TS and congratulations on this. Thanks too, for your support for the challenge. A mighty effort my friend

  • Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊

Good work. Takes me back to student times, lazing around in the afternoon watching dodgy Australian and NZ soaps. Shortland Street sticks in the mind as a low-water mark of televisual tat. Well deserved TS for the way you flipped the genre so neatly.
