I'll suggest my work to you, and I'm confident you'll adore it. Visit my account once, please.
Written quite a while back but I just discovered it, this one by Kendall Defoe is brilliant - https://shopping-feedback.today/lifehack/libraries-and-bookstores%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
I'm super late here, but I read this poem called Unfold Me, Carefully by Milan Milic and really enjoyed it. https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/unfold-me-carefully%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/blue-base-of-a-flame-sonnet%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Caitlin Charlton presents a bold, fresh look at the sonnet...and juxtaposes conflicting ideas in the mind to deliver a human experience. Do have a read!
“I just read [ Second Son Game Is Unbeatable ] from your recommendation — and you’re absolutely right! The writing is so immersive, it almost felt like I was in the game world myself. Thanks for sharing that gem!” https://shopping-feedback.today/gamers/second-son-game-is-unbeatable%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Myself Parvathi , sharing one of my work : https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/the-listening-lens%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Recent read poem that left an impression, check it out https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/among-the-swine%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E by Natasha Collazo
I'm late to the party as usual but I definitely wanted to highlight this incredible piece by Rachel where she perfectly contrasts three different experiences over her past week to emphasize the stark horror of WWII concentration camps. https://shopping-feedback.today/history/reflections-on-a-trip-away%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Hi everyone! This guy https://shopping-feedback.today/authors/suede-the-poet%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E is brand new here, even newer than me. Only two stories posted so far, so not time consuming to check him out and welcome him. I’m still pretty new myself, so here’s a recent short poem for fun: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/walking-mp25kt00zg%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Hello! Silver here, writer of menacing things lately. A few of my favorites recently: "Jealous Sister" by Catilin Charlton https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/jealous-sister%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E The writing on this was absolutely fantastic, delicately done, and rife with emotions. I was in love with it from the first word :) "Labyrinth" by Lamar Wiggins https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/labyrinth-c1kmh0cew%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E I loved this haiku. It was so threatening and, like everything else he writes, perfectly penned. Last, but not least, "Chilled to the Bone" by K.B. Silver https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/chilled-to-the-bone-571330of7%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E K.B. is an exceptional writer with a real ability to make scenes leap off the page and that's exactly what I liked about this poem. Absolutely wonderful writing and deeply deserving of more likes!
I think Joe Connor has a winner with this story title Aventine Hill at https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/aventine-hill%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Welcome to my jungle of long comments. Where I praise the ground you walk on. Read these please. Hopefully a top story for some ♥️🤗🙏🏽🖤 Tanya Lei https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/am-i-a-poet-yet%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment: -I recently got Mary Oliver's - devotions. 💌I didn't feel as though I was good enough yet. So I went digging. 📖💌 I do like the effect this gave in italic. 'it gets a point across' - 'cause a weighty ounce' love how unexpected this line was 👌🏾 📖💌 Love how you provided the silence. - yes I know what you mean. This piece is making me giggly. It's smart, informative and has good vibes. 📖💌 Confused spelt backwards 👌🏾 - I do like to be sliced to bits. I am working on one that tells a horrid truth at the moment. 📖💌 Lol I did try removing the glue. This was the laugh I needed. - 'point' oh this bit gave me goosebumps. How it's slowed down there. 📖💌 I love that the conclusion is that you already know who you are. Nothing could take that away from you. I must admit. I overthink way too much when I write. This was outstanding, Tanya 🤗❤️🖤 Phoebe Nhyira Kwapong-Anyan https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/beneath-the-night-lights%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment: I love how carefully this was written. It's like taking a single step each time. 🌌I really do like the feet rhyming with the drumming of the rain. Linking us to nature in such a beautiful way. Futures feeling distant. Then showing us by mentioning the dazzling stars 👌🏾 🌌Oh my. Those last few lines have me goosebumps. This was outstanding, Phoebe 🤗❤️🖤 Silver Daux https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/leaf-droplets%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment: 🌨️I can't start without saying that I love your aesthetic on your page. All the reds bursting through the dark background. 🍁I am happy that you dug this one up and published it. 🌨️Very nice imagery. Tumbling to the frost. ❄️We saw it fall in an unforgiving way, in your first line. Then we could see it underneath our feet. 🍁And the strong vividness of the last line paints a picture that won't leave the mind. 'Blood' gave us the consequence of the fall, but it also adds such a contrast to the colour white of the snow. Outstanding, there was nothing not to love about this one 🤗❤️🖤 Michelle Liew Tsui-Lin https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/when-etna-breathes-fire%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment : Must weaken to renew. A solid, spiritual statement and fact. 🌋'It's grief in our spirit not just in stone' at first the volcano was far away, not near us, now it is within us. I love that. The word tongue made it easy for me to see in my minds eye, how it curls. 🌋Love the rhythm. It slowly creeps up on us. 'So it burns what it reaps not' 👌🏾 🌋Oh my those last four lines were beautiful, ending on a calm, sweet tone, of a problem or emotion that is now resolved. Through the symbol of the volcano. Outstanding work as always, Michelle. 🤗🖤❤️ Kelli Sheckler-Amsden https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/falling-kn62k0eg%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment : ❄️Oh that first line. It is like I could see the change happening, from thin to heavy. Wow. ❄️'lightly crusted' as I got to this bit. I love the fact that you did not abandon that thin drop. You developed it — broadening what we could see. Your poem is honestly the best at bringing the seasons change to us. I especially love how you worded 'Fall' —falling asleep. The imagery was so crisp, so grounded in reality that I cant help but to be in awe. I am waiting on the following lines to take me hostage... ❄️'Winter shows up wearing frills' yet again, I had to take a pause to admire. Oh my —the breath learns how to linger. You lingered on every line in this poem. So much love and consideration went into it, that I can live to appreciate all the effort you put into it. ❄️Everything paid off. Whatever you did. What started as a seed bloomed into something we could both see and feel. I will forever love this one from you, Kelli. It is my November favourite from you. That is to say. It is one of my favourite from you. But this landed on the month of November. Fantastic work. If this was for one of the challenges, then I wish you all the very best 🤗❤️🖤 Calvin London https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/ophelia-my-orchid%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment: 🪷🤍I've got a dirty mind and this photo of your flowering Ophelia, has exposed me. But if you look at her again. You are going to see exactly what I saw, so don't look. Don't say I didn't warn you. 🪷🤍Unless you already knew. The first quatrain made me wonder what Ophelia would be thinking — loved by another who cares for her. That even when she grows old, she will still be a beauty to behold. 🪷🤍A maidens lips for the petal. Oh that was a glorious match made in flower land. Coloured heart 👌🏾 🪷🤍Allowing us to view our petals before feeling your touch. Oh my, was that effective. 🪷🤍'Will one day fade away...' time will be ticking. Bringing us back to reality. But foreshadowing the nearing end of this poem. 🪷🤍Then bringing us back into the vibe of the poem, in the last quatrain — you left us again. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Hi! I'm Sara... writer of many things. Mostly creepy things and poetry! I read quite a few stories I've enjoyed lately, but I'm gonna share these ones here today: First, John Cox- The Pirate's Lament. Pirates are something I don't see talked about often these days, so I quite enjoyed his piece here: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/the-pirates-lament%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Next, Caitlin Charlton never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful work. This one, To Be Your Family, that I read this morning was stunning: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/to-be-your-family%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Next up, Sam Spinelli wrote one of the best pieces I read for spooky season, Trick or Threat: https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/trick-or-threat-qn00fqx%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E And finally, I came across a piece by someone I never had the chance to read before, Kristine Franklin. Her piece about working as a budtender was an interesting read: https://shopping-feedback.today/journal/what-i-learned-working-in-the-cannabis-industry#comment-05909e10-8210-41fb-b6db-7264482d7046%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Happy reading, everyone!
Stephanie Hoogstad here again. Fiction writer, poet, and occasional nonfiction writer. I want to draw attention to a few writers: Maria Perez, who's new to Vocal, wrote this beautiful poem about the work that those who have come before us have done to give us a whole sky-load of opportunity: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/generation-work%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Lana V Lynx collected together all the drabbles for her unofficial Elon Musk as an alien challenge under one story: https://shopping-feedback.today/writers/he-always-wants-to-go-home%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Paul Stewart wrote a raw, powerful, no-bars-held poem that I think everyone should read: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/blood-on-my-brain%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
