Doomsday Murders
In the American Wildlands of Indiana, there was a cult of people who believed the world would end, if the blood of innocent virgins was not shed. There have been horror stories throughout history, where many believed the reason crops would not grow in the fields, or why there was a severe drought, was due to the fact God himself was not pleased with his people. So some would offer blood sacrifices to appease these higher beings, believing this is what they wanted. Nobody truly knows where this bizarre myth began, only that many cultures around the world thought this was a genuine way of pleasing their God-like rulers from the sky. I am not here to question religion as a whole, as nobody truly knows for certain whether or not there truly is some other worldly force that controls the planet, watching over us and protecting those who deserve it the most. This story is about the before mentioned Doomsday Cult of Indiana, who in 1985, were involved in a series of terrifying murders that nobody should ever repeat!

The Waterboy Murders
In American High Schools there are football teams, these players usually get all the girls, are most popular and highly respected among their peers. Oftentimes their ego takes over, turning them into unstoppable bullies who prey on the less popular science geeks. It's a sad reality often depicted in American movies, where the alpha Chads of these schools torment the nerdy Eugenes of the world. Among the football teams are Waterboys, kids who get water for the Chads, who typically never respect the poor boys who keep them hydrated. The Waterboy is always forgotten and looked over, nobody pays any attention to them, as they serve the needs of those who are popular, while he remains forever looked down upon. No girl wants to go prom with the Waterboy, he is always the last choice. Nobody remembers the Waterboy fondly years later, everyone remembers Chad Hancock, the football captain of the school, the one guy who won gold and made everyone proud. Nobody remembers the guy who gave him the strength and hydration needed to win the match. That's just how it is.

Sticky Masks
Halloween is a spooky time of year, it is a fun holiday for the kids and adults too. Anyone who likes to play dress up adores this time of year as people dress like Vampires and Zombies, knocking on strangers house doors, asking for candy with the classic phrase; "Trick or Treat!" Now the first word in this catchphrase "Trick" is often ignored, as most people don't even think about it and just pour a bag of sweets into the kid's plastic buckets. However, if people shut the door in these kids faces, refusing to give out candy, don't be surprised if that house gets toilet roll thrown all over it that very night. These are mostly harmless pranks, that may be a pain to clean up the next day, but it is what it is.

Clean Kill
Once there was a legend of this hitman (a hired assassin), one who became infamous among the dark web, he was precise and always discreet. Nobody knew his real identity, only that he disguised himself as a janitor. One who changed his appearance very often, he's had every colour of hair, styled it in completely different ways, from a skinhead to long shoulder length and everything in-between. He's even changed his eye contact colours with different facial hairstyles to really make himself unrecognisable from job to job. The man even went so far as to consistently change his own body weight, he'd make himself obese, scrawny and even hit the gym to gain huge muscle mass. Some suspected him of getting plastic surgery every so often. All of which, was just to keep his true identity a complete secret. Nobody ever knew his name, he was only referred to as "The Cleaner". Rumours said, he was not one man, but many; a group of assassins who all used a janitor disguise to sneak into office buildings and get close to their targets, such as CEOs for huge corporate businesses. There have been many cases where "The Janitor" whoever he (or they) may be, has been spotted on CCTV moments before the killed corpse of a business man has been found, he's typically found polishing or hovering up nearby the crime scene, as if making sure his body is found and that he can claim he had nothing to do with it. Of course, this has happened a few too many times throughout the many years, since this bizarre series of murders first took place in 2011.

The Penny Murders
Nothing screams luck better than finding an expensive penny on the street, it is a diamond in the rough, a nice surprise that you can spend at the candy shop. Although it isn't much to adults, for a child it's like finding an Easter egg. However, not all tales of lost pennies are of good fortune. Sometimes they can be an omen of bad luck or misfortune, especially if that coin is found upon the eyes of a decomposing corpse! Yes, that right; back in 1912, there was a particularly strange case of murders within the city of London, where the mystery killer lay copper coins over the eyes of his victims. This was a common practice at the time, where to honour the dead, we used to place coins over their eyes at open casket funerals. Well, some sick individual decided to use that as their very own calling card. This killer soon became known as "The Undertaker" among the streets of London, this legend would become infamous alongside the names of Jack The Ripper, The Zodiac Killer and so many others. The most unfortunate thing about The Undertaker, was that whoever he or she was, they were never ever caught! However, there are a number of tales that depict this mysterious murderer, told from those who survived close encounters with this notorious creep.

The BBQ Killer
Summer is such a great time of year! The sun is shining, there's not a single cloud in the sky, the temperature might be unbearably hot, but it's still better than the rain. The world just looks so much prettier and bright, especially when the sun shines across green fields making them look lush and rich with vegetation. Even the darkest, crime ridden alleyways of London or Chicago, can look welcoming in this hot, clear weather. However it isn't always sunshine and rainbows when Summer time comes round, not if you live in Texas! Because there is a particularly strange killer, that is still at large to this very day. No I'm not talking about the fictional chainsaw murderer from all of those horror films, this killer is a mysterious individual who has yet to be caught. Whoever they are, they have only ever been identified to be known as; The Barbeque Killer!

Ed's Sour Hotdogs
In the city of New York during the year of 1999, there was a hotdog vendor named Ed Bellic, a Serbian man who was rather popular with tourists around Liberty Island. They claimed his hotdogs were the best, for they tasted rather different and oddly sour. Now sour meat sounds foul, but the people who are these hotdogs claimed the sweetness of them was particularly refreshing. The sausages felt like ecstasy against the tongue, at first your taste buds go crazy, you may even feel a little woozy, but then it all blends together and it is simply juicy and delicious, unlike anything you've eaten before! Customers would buy them by the dozen, his hotdog stand was twice the size of most vendors and everyone begged him to reveal his secret ingredients. Yet, Ed would never budge, claiming that his extraordinarily tasty hotdogs was like a magic trick that should never be revealed. News spread like wildfire across New York and even TV star chefs offered him millions to share his secrets, still Ed Bellic refused to share. Now that certainly raised a lot of suspicion. Why on earth would Ed choose to serve hotdogs in the rain drenched city for a living, when he could've sold his secrets and live on a yacht or inside a mansion for the rest of his life. Some said he loved his job that much, he'd happily serve his special hotdogs forever. In fact, he did raise his prices to an unfair degree, but still, it didn't make much sense.

Clown Killers
In the year 2019, there was a very strange trend that many people followed. That of the creepy clown gangs who would dress up like circus freaks and terrorise people, this was mostly done as a viral joke or prank, which people did to get attention online. However, as with every bizarre trend, sometimes there are people who take these ideas way too far! Oftentimes the police would get involved, as some of these creepy clowns would harass people at home, constantly hanging around their houses, dancing and generally acting "spooky". This had obviously gone far beyond a joke, as it gave people an excuse to be a nuisance. Unfortunately there was a case, where the most despicable crime took place. Murder. Multiple murders. Most of which were senseless attacks, that may or may not have even been intended to kill the victim. However, the case I am discussing today is one that still leaves Detectives bewildered to this very day.

Strange Meat From Picman Farm
The villagers of Tintern in Wales, were greeted with unusual tasting beef back in 1941, as the local Picman Farm was producing the village's meat. Surrounding the town was a lush countryside which consisted of green fields, hills, mountains and forests. The farm in question was a good mile or two from the village center. A lot of kids back then went missing in the countryside, everyone presumed it was because the area was so huge and vast, even an adult could get lost in it. There were theories that perhaps there was an ancient mythical dragon out there in the forests, one that preyed on lost boys and girls. Of course this was just a harmless bed time story, one designed to scare children away from venturing too far away from the village. Never in a million years did any of the parents suspect there to be a real monster out in those woods. However, as you're about to learn from reading this tale, there most certainly was a real danger awaiting them! You see, Picman Farm was a strange place, it produced an incredible amount of beef, yet anyone who dared to explore this place, would soon discover that the farm only had a total of three cows. The farm was tiny, it only had a small farmhouse and barn full of at most, 12 animals. It was unbelievable that such a small farm could produce so much. It was only capable of producing 30 eggs, 60 litres of milk and 20 vegetables a month. So the fact it could produce almost ten times as much beef was most definitely suspicious. Yet nobody suspected a thing, that was until a family from outside of the village visited Tintern and ate some of the local beef. They said it tasted funny, unlike any beef they'd ever eaten, it's texture was far more liquid than solid, the colour was much lighter than that of regular red meat. Soon more outsiders began to notice this unfamiliar taste of beef, and when someone came to the village with beef from outside the village, everyone who was local was shocked to discover, the beef they had been eating was nothing like the meat everyone else in Wales had been eating. Their meat tasted more sour and tangy than the rest of the world's. For a long time, this bizarre difference in taste was ignored until local police began to get suspicious. Children were still disappearing around the area of Picman Farm, this coupled with the unusual tasting beef began a horrifying theory. That the meat the people of Tintern Village were eating, was in fact the remains of lost children! It was a terrifying thought, one nobody wanted to believe. That was until Detective Moores decided to investigate. He ventured down to Picman Farm and introduced himself to the farmer who owned the place, his name was Henry Carter, a slightly overweight, middle aged man with a mean face that was seemingly stuck in a permanent sneer.

Car Bomb Terror
It all happened back in 1987, Tommy Christian was an obese Italian man who was spending time with his family in Sicily. They had just left America to return home for the summer, however Tommy had made a large number of enemies in New York city, as he was an infamous mafia mobster. One who had organised all kinds of different crimes around the city, since the early 1960s, Tommy had climbed up the ranks to become the head boss of his family gang. He never thought in a million years, that his foes from such a distant land would ever track him down all the way up here in Italy. So when he climbed inside his luxury car after a long and delicious meal at the city's finest restaurant, he felt that his life was in no danger whatsoever. Then, when he turned the keys in his motor and sparked the engine. The whole car exploded and set fire! The explosion was loud and shattered glass from all around the street, from other car windows, wine glasses and house windows. There were unfortunately a lot of tourists passing by when the car bomb was set off, killing at least 10 innocent people, perhaps more alongside the infamous Tommy Christian. It had been such a beautiful summer's day too, only for it to end in such horror and bloodshed was truly tragic.

Sad Birthday
Everyone loves a good birthday party, the special cake, the gifts and celebrations that come with it are all so fun, especially for the birthday boy or girl. Sure, a loud expensive party isn't everyone's cup of tea, but most people love a good feast and drink to celebrate the occasion. It is very rare for someone to have a bad birthday, it can happen if maybe they're at work that day and have a tough shift, perhaps they fall ill during the occasion and spend their birthday in bed alone. Life can be cruel like that, sometimes it can be downright despicable and unfair. You've likely had a bad birthday at some point, maybe you're getting a little too old and don't like being reminded of your eventual demise? It could be that you're so introverted, you actually don't like people loudly singing and laughing, as it makes you anxious. No matter how awful a birthday you think you've had, I guarantee it wasn't anywhere near as bad as Frank's birthday party, which unfortunately for him, was more accurately his Deathday!

Chef The Killer
Fictional murder mystery story Being a chef is hard work. You've likely seen the TV shows where the big boss screams at his underlings, demanding them to work faster and cook better, while also calling them horrid slurs in the process. You may think that's over-exaggerated, a hyperbolic display of dominance, purely for the camera and the audience's amusement. Perhaps once upon a time this was a show, but in recent years; this behaviour has actually become the norm in many everyday kitchens at restaurants. The pressure is unbelievable, the time restraints are suffocating and the patience of head chefs is nonexistent! Every meal must be cooked on time and ready for public consumption, no dish can be left to go cold, it must be sent out as soon as possible before it gets cold. A good kitchen needs to work like clockwork, everyone must be on the ball and one slip up can result in catastrophe! Of course, everyone is human, which means mistakes are unfortunately inevitable and in some rare cases, some chefs have been pushed far beyond their limit!
