Strange Meat From Picman Farm

It's Tasty!

Tasty treats available here!

The villagers of Tintern in Wales, were greeted with unusual tasting beef back in 1941, as the local Picman Farm was producing the village's meat. Surrounding the town was a lush countryside which consisted of green fields, hills, mountains and forests. The farm in question was a good mile or two from the village center. A lot of kids back then went missing in the countryside, everyone presumed it was because the area was so huge and vast, even an adult could get lost in it. There were theories that perhaps there was an ancient mythical dragon out there in the forests, one that preyed on lost boys and girls. Of course this was just a harmless bed time story, one designed to scare children away from venturing too far away from the village. Never in a million years did any of the parents suspect there to be a real monster out in those woods. However, as you're about to learn from reading this tale, there most certainly was a real danger awaiting them! You see, Picman Farm was a strange place, it produced an incredible amount of beef, yet anyone who dared to explore this place, would soon discover that the farm only had a total of three cows. The farm was tiny, it only had a small farmhouse and barn full of at most, 12 animals. It was unbelievable that such a small farm could produce so much. It was only capable of producing 30 eggs, 60 litres of milk and 20 vegetables a month. So the fact it could produce almost ten times as much beef was most definitely suspicious. Yet nobody suspected a thing, that was until a family from outside of the village visited Tintern and ate some of the local beef. They said it tasted funny, unlike any beef they'd ever eaten, it's texture was far more liquid than solid, the colour was much lighter than that of regular red meat. Soon more outsiders began to notice this unfamiliar taste of beef, and when someone came to the village with beef from outside the village, everyone who was local was shocked to discover, the beef they had been eating was nothing like the meat everyone else in Wales had been eating. Their meat tasted more sour and tangy than the rest of the world's. For a long time, this bizarre difference in taste was ignored until local police began to get suspicious. Children were still disappearing around the area of Picman Farm, this coupled with the unusual tasting beef began a horrifying theory. That the meat the people of Tintern Village were eating, was in fact the remains of lost children! It was a terrifying thought, one nobody wanted to believe. That was until Detective Moores decided to investigate. He ventured down to Picman Farm and introduced himself to the farmer who owned the place, his name was Henry Carter, a slightly overweight, middle aged man with a mean face that was seemingly stuck in a permanent sneer.

"What you want?" He asked the Detective bluntly.

"Mr. Picman, I presume?"

"Yes. What is this all about, boyo?!"

"A lot of locals have claimed your beef tastes quite different from the rest of the country, I'm rather curious as to why that is?"

"You're a posh English man from London, what you doing up here?" Picman commented on Detective Moores accent.

"I'm a fan of your beef. I just want to know how it's made. Also I'm a Detective investigating a series of missing children, all of which have vanished around your farm. Care to explain that?"

"Kids go missing all the time." Picman shrugged, "not my problem, is it?!"

"Hmm. Mind if I have a look around?"

"I do mind!" Picman growled loudly. Detective Moores was taken back by the farmer's sudden temper. Almost like he was hiding something, perhaps a dark, despicable secret?!

So Detective Moores argued that Barry Picman was a suspicious individual to Police headquarters, he told them about how many children had gone missing around the farm. How his meat tasted sour and unusual. How secretive and stubborn the farmer acted. All of which resulted in the Detective gaining his warrant. He returned to the farm a few days later, this time with a full police car following behind him. Upon seeing all of this, Barry Picman began firing his rifle at the Detective and Police. It seemed Moores was right! As the farmer looked stressed and panicked, knowing exactly why the police were here. Unfortunately police had no choice but to kill Barry in the shoot out, as he refused to surrender. As an ambulance was called in to take Barry's body away, Detective Moores decided to investigate the slaughter house, only to realise the terrifying rumours were true! Dead human bodies of all ages, were strung up by hooks and bleeding out onto the blood soaked ground, that pooled into drains. It was no longer a mystery why the Village meat tasted so unusual and sour, it wasn't beef at all, for years, the people of Tintern had been eating human flesh! It had been sold in local supermarkets, traded and resold to the public by butchers and even used in local restaurants and pubs! Barry Picman had involuntarily turned everyone in the village into cannibals. If only this horror story ended here, because it is believed that some of the locals loved this particular brand of "beef" so much, they eventually went on to seek it out by other means. Throughout the years, there have been a few rare cases of murder in and around Tintern, where the victim is disturbingly found chopped up like pork, or consumed by the killer.
