Once there was a legend of this hitman (a hired assassin), one who became infamous among the dark web, he was precise and always discreet. Nobody knew his real identity, only that he disguised himself as a janitor. One who changed his appearance very often, he's had every colour of hair, styled it in completely different ways, from a skinhead to long shoulder length and everything in-between. He's even changed his eye contact colours with different facial hairstyles to really make himself unrecognisable from job to job. The man even went so far as to consistently change his own body weight, he'd make himself obese, scrawny and even hit the gym to gain huge muscle mass. Some suspected him of getting plastic surgery every so often. All of which, was just to keep his true identity a complete secret. Nobody ever knew his name, he was only referred to as "The Cleaner". Rumours said, he was not one man, but many; a group of assassins who all used a janitor disguise to sneak into office buildings and get close to their targets, such as CEOs for huge corporate businesses. There have been many cases where "The Janitor" whoever he (or they) may be, has been spotted on CCTV moments before the killed corpse of a business man has been found, he's typically found polishing or hovering up nearby the crime scene, as if making sure his body is found and that he can claim he had nothing to do with it. Of course, this has happened a few too many times throughout the many years, since this bizarre series of murders first took place in 2011.
It is entirely possible, that not every Janitor murder that has taken place was because the victim had a price on their head. Sometimes the people who have been killed in these office spaces (of course the murders always appear accidental at first glance; a poisoned coffee, an unfortunate accident where someone fell through a window or down a tall flight of stairs) were known to be rather rude and unfriendly towards their inferiors, especially the janitors who these snobby office workers often saw themselves as above them. It seems these particular individuals were killed more so out of revenge, perhaps by an angry cleaner either man or woman, who has simply had enough of being treated like dirt. Maybe it's all just a coincidence that many of the victims "The Janitor" has killed were already on a hit list, yet the staff there already hated the victim enough to risk committing murder, purely put of spite and inner rage. Whatever the case may be, it is always best to make friends with the office Janitor, their jobs are hard enough without being treated like thugs. If you treat them like a criminal too much, they might just become one!
To this very day, nobody has ever caught this mysterious killer. In fact, the evidence suggesting the office Janitor is ever the killer is slim. Whoever they are, they know how to hide from surveillance footage whenever they do anything suspicious. Many speculate there is no Janitor killer at all, that people are just desperate to point fingers at anyone and unfortunately the office Janitor always gets targeted. Even those who have been accused of murder and brought in for questioning, have always proved themselves innocent as there is never any evidence to claim they are killers. So perhaps "The Janitor" is just a myth or legend among the criminal underworld. The idea is something straight out of a spy movie or political thriller, it is something that has been depicted in many films, books and TV shows. Could it all just be a story, one shared among fans of movies and crime novels, or is there any actual merit behind this rumour? The only matching trait all of these Janitor killers seem to share, is that they are middle aged men, who appear to be roughly 5.9ft tall.
So next time you meet your office Janitor, don't be rude, pull a smile and welcome him. Because if you're not so friendly, he might just slip some bleach into your coffee mug!
