The Waterboy Murders

A Nerd's Revenge!

By Joseph Roy WrightPublished about a year ago 3 min read
Don't drink the water!

In American High Schools there are football teams, these players usually get all the girls, are most popular and highly respected among their peers. Oftentimes their ego takes over, turning them into unstoppable bullies who prey on the less popular science geeks. It's a sad reality often depicted in American movies, where the alpha Chads of these schools torment the nerdy Eugenes of the world. Among the football teams are Waterboys, kids who get water for the Chads, who typically never respect the poor boys who keep them hydrated. The Waterboy is always forgotten and looked over, nobody pays any attention to them, as they serve the needs of those who are popular, while he remains forever looked down upon. No girl wants to go prom with the Waterboy, he is always the last choice. Nobody remembers the Waterboy fondly years later, everyone remembers Chad Hancock, the football captain of the school, the one guy who won gold and made everyone proud. Nobody remembers the guy who gave him the strength and hydration needed to win the match. That's just how it is.

However, there is one case, where the Waterboy became more famous, or more accurately infamous, than the rest of his high school peers. That is the bizarre and terrifying football match of 1991, where all the players drank water throughout the match against their rival school. Soon enough they all began to feel sick and queasy, fainting on the field one by one, puking up their guts. The green grass was painted red with their blood! At first nobody knew why such a horrifying sight was happening, as nobody had even noticed that the team's Waterboy had seemingly vanished. The school's football stadium was quickly evacuated, as Ambulances were called into the scene, paramedics raced to save as many as they could. Unfortunately, the vast majority of players had died, it was later revealed that the water had been tainted with lethal doses of different tasteless poisons, so that the players would've been downing gallons and gallons of the stuff which is why so mad had died that awful, bloody day. As for the Waterboy? He was never seen again, police searched his parents home, but their son never returned home. CCTV footage spotted him poisoning the water barrels and bottles, before making a discreet escape into the countryside where no cameras could track him. It was later revealed that this killer was named Elliot Scott, he was often bullied by the football team and often yelled at. They would give him wedgies and scream slurs in his face, saying he was pathetic and no girl would ever so much as hug him, never mind go on a date. Elliot hated these other kids with a huge passion, one so big he decided they didn't deserve to live anymore.

To this day, some of the surviving football players of that mass murder, are still searching for Elliot. Yet, not a single one of them, or even the police have been able to spot the missing teenager, who at this point in time would be a middle aged man by 2024. However there have been other cases around the state of Ohio (where this murder took place) where people have been spiked with lethal amounts of poisons. They are always loud mouth football fans, who like to fight and shout, that seem to get targeted. Almost like Elliot is still out there to this very day, targeting those aggressive football players he so passionately hates. Just be careful if you're in Ohio watching a Football match, if you leave your drink behind and it seems to taste even a little bit off, run the bathroom and puke that up! Because you never know if you're the victim of the Waterboy Murderer, until it is too late!
