Dust FALLS off
If you were planning a big party for Easter, you might say to yourself, "Damn, I'm gonna' need a bunch of eggs!" That's perfectly fine to say when it's between you and you. However, if you let the statement roll off your tongue in a busy room, some genius may feel the need to remind you that bananas are sold in a bunch and eggs mainly come in a carton. Sorry to break it to you, Einstein, but you're the slow one here, not me.

The Narcissist Took My Lunch
No, but seriously. The stuff you're about to read was only supposed to take a few moments to jot down, but ended up taking my entire lunch break to put perfectly in words. Granted that circumstance, I knew the name was a clever and compelling choice for this writing.

Picky Playerz
Before I get started with this message, let me emphasize one thing I firmly believe: Solid men don't fret for support. With that being said, try your best not to misconstrue the tone of what I'm about to write. I just happen to be a man that goes where inspiration leads him and I'm at an era of my life in which the selective nature of people keeps being made prominently obvious. Make no mistake, such a nuisance of habits is not new to me at all—just shockingly more apparent right now. To prove it, I dove deep into my timeworn journals for any text that shines light on the common person's deliberate manner of applauding or acknowledging others; Self-interested selectiveness. As I said, I'm no stranger to low vibrational games, so I'll kick off this topic with a journal I penned 7 years ago.

FALLS & FOOLS
Somewhere around the time of discovering this platform called Vocal, I dove deep into my collection of journals and texts to dig up anything with enough value to be showcased. Amongst these precious files, a number of them were no-brainers to adapt for publishing, but the same couldn't be said for them all. A handful of the written works were plentiful in significance, yet puny in word count—too puny to stand alone on this website.

The Crush Collection
It's 2022 and Springtime is near. Here I am again, in serious pursuit of a special someone for only the fourth time in my life. Whether I'll have them or not is something only time can tell, but possessing such desires has only been a floodgate to new principles; Principles that will guarantee to protect the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It feels more than appropriate to store these newfound treasures in the same chest.

Laws of Eating
Let's roll back to 2019, when I was ejected out of my job of three years and landed on my ass at the front desk of a luxury car dealership. I'd finally finessed an employer that let me dress up nice and look important, but I had to be there six days a week, every week. Mind you, this was ONE of TWO jobs. Without realizing it, I'd signed up to a life that only offered one morning and one afternoon for free time per week—So little an amount that I often had to choose between a session of exercise or a visit to the barber. (Check out my other story The Barber Trials on Vocal! That era was the catalyst of it all!)

HOLA, MAMI
Being fluent in the Spanish Language is a real goal of mine, and in my efforts to improve, I've taken my shot at communicating with a range of Hispanics. In the midst of my practice, I find myself unsure of my statements more often than I ever am. It's been quite a humbling experience with many mixed messages. I've come to understand that as a man who aspires to learn a language different than my own, I am vulnerable. I'm taking on completely new terminology and rules of speech, and I can only trust that my studies are leading me in the right direction.

"Goku, My Dad."
The day before Father's Day of 2023, I shared with Instagram a few relevant and important pages from my journal; pages that untangle one of my most prominent and unshakeable incentives to stand the test of time. It just so happens that a certain animated series happened to make me pick up the pen that day.

The Barber Trials
In efforts to take charge of my presentation, I took time away from barbers with the ambition to become a little more skilled with a pair of clippers. A year and 30 haircuts later, I never thought that getting back in a barber's chair would be such an eye-opening experience. The search for a dependable professional left me with enough mental notes to compile into a concrete body of reliable wisdom.

Between Checks and Trophies
In spite of the fact that my workload is much greater than that of my peers, I easily outperform them on a regular basis. Perhaps it's because they are still blind to many of the things that are essential in executing hard work and fulfilling grand goals. I never expected to take on such an overwhelming schedule when this year started, but thankfully, it's been just as enlightening as it has been trying. I write today to proclaim the fruits of my labor that are not tangible.
