controversies
It seems every time one racially-charged incident ends, a gender or religious controversy takes its place; Ruminate on the issues dividing our nation and world.
CIA tangents that straddle the States from LA to Alaska
Despite the best intentions, sometimes no matter how I approach a topic I just can’t find the inspiration to do the research required to tackle it, then suddenly out of the blue an angle appears from nowhere – like a comet shooting through the cosmos – and the writer’s block evaporates.

Who is Controlling Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan Now?
When you hear the name Bagram Airbase, you probably imagine the thundering sound of military jets, convoys of armored vehicles, and rows of barracks that once hosted thousands of troops. For two decades, Bagram was not just a military outpost in Afghanistan—it was the beating heart of U.S. and NATO operations across the region.

Beyond Ukraine: Four Shocking Ways Europe's Security Crisis Just Hit Home
For many, the war in Ukraine has remained a brutal but distant conflict—a crisis contained within its borders. But in recent weeks, that perception has been shattered. The sudden appearance of mysterious drones over Denmark, forcing civilian airports to shut down and grounding tens of thousands of travellers, brought a chilling new reality into sharp focus. The front line is no longer somewhere else; it is here.

Greta Thunberg Detained Again
Activist Greta Thunberg has been detained for the second time. The Israeli Navy intercepted the Samud flotilla, bringing much-needed supplies to Gaza. Reports had come in that drones with itching powder had been dropped on the flotilla. Other events happened, all blamed on Israel. Of course, Israel denied it, but who else could have done these things?

The author used artificial intelligence in the crafting of this article. One of the earliest U.S. reports of alien encounters came in the 1960s. A soldier stationed as a weather watcher at Nellis military base in Nevada described seeing pale yet slender, graceful beings.

Tony Blair: Governor of Gaza?. Content Warning.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair could find himself governing Gaza. He and Donald Trump could end up overseeing Gaza if the latest peace plan agreed by Trump and Netanyahu is accepted. Blair could well be Trump's man in Gaza. Overseeing the rebuilding of Gaza, gathering together Palestinians who will please all sides in eventually taking over from Blair. However, when Netanyahu touches down in Israel after his meeting with the US President, he will face a tirade of hate and praise.

Ledger of the Seventy-Four Percent. Content Warning.
My rent goes up every year in December just in time for Christmas! This is not just about me. It is about all of us boomers that are not wealthy. Every month I pay 74 % of my check of 1216 to rent, now it went up $20. Every month there are thousands of seniors in the same situation. I am overdrawn at the bank now. Payday loans turn into four every month to survive. At the third of the month the ritual repeats like clockwork. The stress is too much at times. I have healthcare and mental health care here in California. How long will this last under the Rumpty Dumpty and Satan Miller adminstration? What will we do? I live this way every month. My art, videos, and music are survival tools. I was never wealthy! There are millions of other folks living paycheck to paycheck, old and young. I live one day at a time in this dystopian nightmare of corporate greed, bigotry, and billionaires who do not care. They will throw us to lions, but wait, we have been living with beasts in time and space 2025.

Cato vs Caesar: The False Dilemma of Modern Democracy
I write this article against the backdrop of today’s political turbulence, the rise of polarisation and extremism in the United States, where hate speech and even political assassination are no longer unthinkable. These events follow an already toxic atmosphere in Europe, with authoritarian tendencies, corruption, and populist rhetoric undermining democratic institutions. In this climate, the dilemmas faced by Rome on the eve of Caesar’s rise feel less like distant history and more like an urgent mirror for our own time.

The United Nations General Assembly: The Center for Peace and Global Cooperation
United Nations General Assembly: A Platform for Peace, Cooperation and Global Unity World history is full of wars, conflicts and differences. The First and Second World Wars revealed the fact that if humanity is to survive, a global organization based on peace and cooperation must be established that can bring all countries to the same table. The United Nations came into being in 1945 at the end of World War II. Its most prominent and central organ is the General Assembly, which is a unique forum for dialogue, cooperation and policy-making among nations at the global level.

Charlie Kirk: Controversial in Life, Controversial in Death.. Content Warning.
