My metal door slammed behind me. The gentle buzz of the people around me, seemed to calm my nerves. I threw down that stupid bronze pin they gave us. It had a fox carved into the bronze. A weak little predator. It was our “ prize”. Anger boiled inside of me. Twenty-one people were killed, along with countless more, just so they would win a pin.

"Who Invited Them" Review
You just moved to the hills in a beautiful new home and life seems perfect, right? Until the dark secrets of the past make themselves known, that is. In this home invasion thriller, director Duncan Birmingham pits two young couples against each other in a night full of drugs, drinking, and tension as several different truths unfold. The plot twist isn’t revolutionary, but is still a fun ride. Although there were some unnecessary sub plot moments, this film kept me engaged until the end.

There was a third keeper with a paintbrush. He was painting the symbol on the man’s door in thick red paint. Then I realized it wasn’t paint. As I continued down the hallway a saw more and, more of these gruesome symbols. I assumed this meant that whoever occupied these rooms were now dead.

With nothing better to do, I just watched the timer. Fifty minutes………. Forty-five- Suddenly a scream erupted from a keep no we’re near my own. I heard footsteps then it was deathly silent. All I could understand was that it was a woman. I laid down, heart still throbbing, and watched the timer.
