A reason to betray a friend
Betrayal is a powerful and often painful act detested across the board, even evil persons and people who betray others hate it all the same. There isn’t a feeling quite as unique as being betrayed by a loved one in whom we’ve put all our confidence and trust, no amount of words can describe that feeling. Loyalty is valued by pretty much everybody, we expected it from friends, family, and even people we barely know to some extent, this is one of those rare instances where there is a clear-cut preference between two antagonistic feelings. I can’t imagine a person ever saying they love being betrayed. While betrayal is generally viewed negatively, understanding the scenarios where one might feel compelled to betray a friend can offer insights into the complexities of human behavior and loyalty.

What others think of you is so fragile that it takes just for the wrong action (voluntary or involuntary) for it to shatter the image those persons have about you. Of course, this isn’t just any random action but something which is uncommon to what those people know about you. For example, being violent when you are known for your composure, weak when people thought of you as strong, or indecent when people trusted in your decency.

Life can get boring
I don’t remember a time when I was bored out of my mind for over an hour. It certainly happens from time to time, but really never lasts long enough to be concerning. Either I’ll fall asleep or I’ll just get something productive to do with my time, but never do I let myself sink into boredom for too long. This time around my life didn’t get boring but I kind of saw that in the lives of others. I saw some people not know what to do of their day and basically waste countless hours of their time doing something they were not interested in.

Our Logic Differs
In an argument with a colleague, I came to the understanding of why I often get into such heated debates with others and why it's so difficult for me to get my point of view across to others. The subject of the debate isn’t really important, what matters here is the fact that we both could not get through to the other. This led us to a 2-hour-long argument where each party presented their points, and it was not convincing enough to sway the other from their position.
