The Problem with money
This article isn’t meant to be controversial, just hear me out first. How come something we use every day and all the time can prove to be so problematic in the end. I recall the famous Justin Timberlake movie (Title: In Time) in which there was a society where there was no money but rather time, your lifetime was what you used to pay for whatever you wanted, and you worked for more time. I think in such a society it really puts things into perspective, if you were giving up your life for all those things you dream of, do you really think its worth it? In that society they weren’t working hard to earn money so they could buy fancy cars or jewelry, they were working hard in order to see another day, literally.

Keep it short and simple
Have you ever met those kinds of persons who talk for hours on end? How they always have something to say, and they enjoy monologues. They could talk for hours and hours without even catching their breath, while desperately trying to pass a point across to an already bored crowd which has lost all interest in what they have to say. I’ve already met a couple of persons like that and quite frankly, I can’t remember anything they said, all I remember is the impression they left on me which was one of frustration to be forced to listen to all they had to say in the name of politeness. I understand that we try to be understood by saying a lot, but sometimes, saying too much produces the reverse effect. Whenever you speak, I’ll advise you take your time to reflect not just on what you have to say but also on how to use less words to pass your ideas.

Cancel Culture: What I like & dislike
Cancel culture is one of the consequences of social media we didn’t see coming, if a good number of people gang up against you for long enough, they can ruin your entire life. They might decide to boycott a certain company or decide to harm a brand in protest to what a person did, they might pressure your company into firing you, or they could even ruin your business. I think its amazing to really see how people can come together in unison to harm another person’s life, forget about good or evil, just the simple fact that we can all agree that the life of an individual needs to be ruined is really amazing to me.

Are you scared of the Metaverse
You are not alone if you feel this way, I think everybody who is scared of the metaverse has already watched the movie “The Matrix” or something quite similar and that has really biased our thinking negatively against such ideas. I don’t think those movies go too far from reality but they tend to exaggerate things, quite frankly there is no telling what will happen if robots can think for themselves, if the metaverse becomes a reality or even if aliens come down to earth, all we can do is speculate based on previous information, except for the fact that we don’t have previous information about these. All what we can do now are inferences and speculations while tip-toeing into everything we do, without even mentioning how divided the scientific community is on such issues, some think AI is useful while others think its going to lead to our demise, some think there are no aliens out there while others feel like there are aliens out there just too evolved for us to see.

Why I won’t get into Crypto
Well I don’t think there is anybody out there who enjoys being broke, we’ll all like to ride in the lambos and live in the high rise apartments with views of the ocean and not a crappy room in the deepest ghettos. It seems like there is this new technology out there called cryptocurrency and whatever other crazy thing spirals out of that which has really gotten the world in a frenzy. It seems like everybody is rushing into it trying to make a profit. If I based my analysis from all the influencers I see on my feeds, it seems to work very well for all of them. Maybe it does, and maybe it doesn’t, but I have a hard time believing that I’d be making millions in cryptocurrency and my first instinct would be to put everybody on the game🤔 . That right there sounds kinda fishy, don’t you think?
