Life can get boring

I don’t remember a time when I was bored out of my mind for over an hour. It certainly happens from time to time, but really never lasts long enough to be concerning. Either I’ll fall asleep or I’ll just get something productive to do with my time, but never do I let myself sink into boredom for too long. This time around my life didn’t get boring but I kind of saw that in the lives of others. I saw some people not know what to do of their day and basically waste countless hours of their time doing something they were not interested in.

Even cycling through TikTok is a waste of time but does have distraction merits. I think the secret of not having a boring life lies in discipline. When you understand that there are things you should be doing with your life and that your time isn’t just limited but also precious, then you know that you shouldn’t waste it. Its either you are; building your dreams, learning a skill, following your passions or surviving, maybe some other things I am forgetting but never should you just sit there and let countless days go into the drain without you knowing what to do.

What often tends to happen is that people underestimate what they could be doing with their lives and sink into a routine where they don’t have much going on in their lives. They end up being bored all the time.

I really don’t have the same lifestyle, so I can't really speak much on that. What I know about myself is that I have to be constantly developing my skills and pursuing new goals every step of the way. Right now in my log I have a bunch of things I should be doing or even just thinking about so I never really run out of things to do. Even if I have nothing to do then my default activity would be to write about my experiences like I am doing now. I don’t understand how a person can be bored for days, that means you are not living to your full capacity and you pretty much see your life as being limited.

Life shouldn’t get boring because we have unlimited wants, even if I don’t want to work hard, I could focus instead on gaining new experiences, discovering new things and really going all out pushing my limits.

Working hard doesn’t necessarily mean doing things which are challenging, even if it is to have fun you can still work hard for that as well, so there are enough things to pursue already in life. I want to learn singing, acting, content creation and much more, so many creative outlets for my time and energy to the point where I don’t see how or why I should get bored but I understand that not every body is going to be like me.

Some people have a boring life and they are happy with that, they don’t have much going on and as long as they have some siblings by their side to guide them then they are happy with that. I can only wish such persons good luck, when it comes to me I have so many creative things I’ll rather be doing and as long as those things aren’t brought into reality then its very hard for me to be bored, even if those weren’t there then I’ll still have dreams of exploring the world and discovering new experiences. Its mind blowing to me how a person can get comfortable with living in one city, doing the same things for the rest of their lives like there wasn’t a world of possibilities out there. I guess they are happy with what they get so I can’t complain for them.

Lets not let life get boring especially if we can do something about it.

Conclusion

I guess everybody has their reason why they might be bored from time to time, I am not judging. I just think that our lives are precious, and our time here is very limited, for us to waste it doing nothing of real importance is to waste the blessing of life we received. When you can’t even do things which are profitable for yourself, then I have doubts what you can possibly accomplish of value for the world. Don’t let your life go to waste!
