Showers And Fools - A Mikeydred April Dollar Prompt For All Vocal Creators

Introduction

Every month I set prompts in the Vocal Social Society and offer a dollar tip to five random creators who take part in it and ask them to share their stories in the comments and on the thread in the group.

This is not official and usually after each one I say that's it, but this is another time where I say, "No, let's have another prompt.

So What's Gonna Happen This Time?

I want you to write me a story or poem, the theme is things that relate to the month of April. You can also use the title, and there is April Fool's Day and Arbor Day. This April we also have Easter too.

Here are a few April days which may provide inspiration:

Apr. 5 (first Saturday in April): International Pillow Fight Day

Apr. 7 (first Monday in April): Sweet Potato Day

Apr. 7: National No Housework Day

Apr. 10: Gopher Tortoise Day (Florida)

Apr. 17: Blah, Blah, Blah Day

Apr. 20 (third Sunday in April): Go Fly a Kite Day

Apr. 26: National Richter Scale Day

Apr. 26 (last Saturday in April): National Sense of Smell Day

I will write and include an example story, but that won't be classed as an entry.

I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I know you are all incredible creative Vocal talents, so get your pens, paper and keyboards out.
