A Dream

a poem

When days are dark

I dream of Spring

of fields lush

with songbirds singing

trees in bloom

and flowers swaying

A chorus with voice aplenty

leaving my cave

to step in time

with their symphony

I ponder

If nature’s reborn

refreshed and renewed

after dormant buried months

why could I not do

the same?

I think we emerge anew along with nature every season. Love the theme of renewal here.

Well-wrought! All life moves in cycles, and those who are patient with nature will find nature the beneficent mother rather than the scolding hag!

Just a lovely little poem (assuming you take the ending as hopeful)
