December Will Be Magic Again - A Mikeydred December Dollar Prompt For All Vocal Creators
Introduction Every month, I set prompts in the Vocal Social Society and offer a dollar tip to five random creators who participate, asking them to share their stories in the comments and on the thread in the group.

Shot By Both Sides
Introduction When I first heard the song "Shot By Both Sides" by Magazine, I was captivated by the riff and the lyrics, so much so that we had the song in our set with the Bok, and I loved the effect the riff had on the audience when we played it.

The Eight
Introduction When my subscribed stories replaced top stories on the home page, I was annoyed because my subscription feed is better, although some creators expressed that it was too difficult to press that button, and I was a troublemaker for daring to suggest it, and Vocal agreed. But this is where we are, but my subscription feed gives me fifty per cent more stories:

Seriously, What Is This About Vocal?
Introduction This is just about the flood of winning Challenge pieces in Top Stories. Has Something Gone Wrong? WTF Vocal. Since Wednesday 24th of December 25 every Top Story has been a previous Challenge placement or winner.

Reading Round-Up #5
I know, I can hardly believe it myself. It has been less than two weeks since the last reading roundup, which focused on my favourite books over the last few months. It has also been less than a week since my last published piece on Vocal, The Plunge.

Happiness and Light Unofficial Challenge - The Results!
Whatβs a judge to do? We had so many happy, bouncy, flouncy, bibbidy boppy (Shout out to Cristal for that phrase that has remained in our grumpy brains since we read her original entry. Alas, we went with an older, more sincere one, but you should still check it out - Paul) entries that this pair of surly curmudgeons were flummoxed by Schmaltz, zest for life and woo woo so deep we had to don waders to work our way through it. And we are both stoked that 4 of you earned Top Stories (20% of entrants)! We received eighteen entries for the Optimistic phase of the challenge that were chock-a-block with rainbows, fluffy critters, and sprites. For the Sarcastic phase of the challenge, we had two entrants who gleefully brought cold hard reality down on the optimistic entries like a couple of kids playing two-fisted Wack-a-Mole.
