How to Write a Horror Script
Hello dear reader. What scares an audience? A filmmaker could concentrate on phobias centralized to certain groups of people. That would be one route to go. A much more Advantageous route to go would be the purely and simply sake of universal fears i.e. death, loss of loved one. Every story ever told can be broken down into a beginning a middle and an end. In a horror story think of it in these terms opening tragedy evil attacks and is it over.

Final Review
"I can't believe it. They think I'm losing it." My office mate, Bill, looked haggard. Of course, at the end of any given semester, we all do. But there was something haunted and a bit mad about his demeanor. He looked like he had just been told something was malignant.

Unraveling Worlds. Content Warning.
When the Governments of the world came out of their secured bunkers, they revealed their “One Nation, One Power” form of Government system. Those in Government offices and roles when 'The OB's' arrived would each have an equal position of power in this new Government system, it would combine all the countries into “One”, despite the distances between the countries, it would not change them running as one machine. This new “One Nation, One Power” system recruited a lot of former military persons and also a lot of the factions to be their “enforcement” for implementing and regaining control of each region of the world.

YOU CAUGHT ME WHEN I WAS FALLING
I was grounded, solid, firm and unmovable, like a leaf blade strongly fastened to a branch by its petiole. Knowing my roles and responsibilities well, I stayed focused in delivering my tasks and achieving my goals. I was satisfied with the fruits I bear and continued to work passionately to the best of my abilities.

Homeland Performance
I must look stunning to get Donald to select me as his running mate. My makeover includes my hair, teeth, outfits, and makeup. I won't wear jeans and cowgirl shirts. It worked as South Dakota governor but won't sit well with Donald. He requires camera-ready, attractive, and photogenic television personalities with bright, shining smiles and beautiful long hair. If he doesn't select me as VP, I'll get a Cabinet position.

Guardians and Angels | Chapter Three (Part 12)
I knew everything about permanent marks on my life, or so I thought. My freckles, they’ve always stained my skin; wine splashes upon my image, spattered and sprayed across me since the day I saw my own arms and legs. I was a spotted animal of some sort, in my mind, a leopard. A marked creature who would be feared for its tattooed patterns. In reality, they were a scourge, or so I thought.

What's In a Reading Experience?
When I talk about ‘reading experiences’ I’m not just talking about the way in which we experience literature when reading it. A ‘reading experience’ also refers to the fact that some books stay with us. We may remember the experience of reading it at the time and then, as if taken back in time, relive that experience or at least, wish to relive it.

Facebook Vaudeville
Author's Introduction: The following dialogue is very loosely based on the true struggle that I have had with Facebook over the last week or so trying to get back into my Facebook after it got hacked and, subsequently, locked. Spoiler alert: it still has not been resolved.

Recognizing Depersonalization and Derealization.
It is said that difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. What is omitted from that statement is the feeling of aloneness which the road entails. For no matter how many friends, family and kind, supportive overtures you receive along the way...for which one is eternally grateful...we all suffer alone at the core of it all.

Charm Against An Egg Boat
Update: I am privileged to have had this piece accepted by The Gothic Gazette which has given me a massive boost as I have been feeling flat about my writing … to Charm Against an Egg Boat is one of my first pieces of flash fiction responding to traditional rhymes. It was published in Pagans of the North March 2024 edition https://www.pagansofthenorth.co.uk/magazine. I am submitting monthly to this online magazine and have popped my piece Ring O' Roses that was in the April Edition underneath Charm. The wee cartoon of the witch in her egg boat was drawn my partner Mick Smith.
