Champion your favorite creators

Our “Raise Your Voice Threads” are hosted most alternating Thursdays at 12PM ET to offer creators more avenues to uncover exceptional stories on Vocal. As we are continuously searching for fresh creators and inspiring stories, this thread provides an opportunity to exchange and discuss the stories that have moved and motivated us on Vocal.
Same as the Leaderboard updates, this will be the last Raise Your Voice thread of the year. We’ll be back on January 8, 2026. Happy holidays, everyone! 🎄
How to join the 📢 Raise Your Voice Thread:
- Introduce yourself in the comment section of this story and tell us what you create on Vocal.
- Shoutout a Vocal creator you recommend reading. Include the URL of a writer or story that inspired you and why.
- If you like a story another person has recommended, send that story's creator a like, leave a comment, and/or subscribe to them.
Please follow Vocal’s Community Guidelines and don’t spam your own profile or stories in the thread. We encourage the community to report users or comments that break these guidelines.
We'll start the thread:
Check out Cardboard Soul by Harper Lewis, a quiet reckoning disguised as compromise.

Please visit me over at - https://shopping-feedback.today/authors/malachai-hough%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E I started writing many years back as a means to document my thoughts during my travels and times as a Semi Professional Snowboarder on the Freeride World Tour. This part of my life in now behind me, but my first post is an insight into this sports lifestyle and how it defined me for better or worse through good times and hard times. I Have a few more posts ready to go, but for now I feel this opening is important as a reflection into the person behind the writing. Happy posting and all the best on your Vocal journey!
I’m Jesse Lee and I wrote poetry mostly in all forms with emphasis on spoke word type stuff and comedy. I also do short stories. I’m enjoying reading Tanya Lei. She is a young and very talented and creative writer. She is doing a cool unofficial challenge right now: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/who-do-i-actually-want-to-be%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">

I found this creator Seána Pierson, and would like to try to get this poem a little bit of recognition. I think it will definitely resonate with those of us that ever felt a little overwhelmed with the demands placed on us: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/demands-39cfy0ax8%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Gabe here! Poetry of many sorts, and the occasional short story from me. A week late to this thread - but if anyone is still checking it, my very own brother recently starting writing here on Vocal! And I don't think it's familial bias that makes me say that his entry to the Last Flame challenge is just brilliant: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/firewood-wi91u0c1t%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">

Hey everyone, I'm Imola from Hungary, but I moved to France for the cheese. No, I'm joking... or am I? It helps to keep me around for sure.... I just read "Burnout" from Addison M, and I loved it so much I immediately thought to share it here (And I usually even forget this thread exist...) As a non-native speaker, I wish one day I can come close to think up such clever lines in English as Addison wrote in this one. Give it a read if you have time ❤️ https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/burnout-ox4hx0dlx%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
