Stuck on Life
“You know, when you're stuck in the same old routine in the city, it's easy to get caught up in the grind and forget what life is really about. But then you take a step back, get out of town, and watch the sunset, and it's like a whole new world opens up.”

Touch Grass
Words that people have used to describe me: Down-to-earth, kind, generous, spontaneous, flexible, adaptable. Yet, the term down-to-earth sticks to me the most. People in my life have used this to describe me, and I never really thought twice of the meaning of it until very recently. It means I am in touch with reality and reasonable, which I completely agree. Lately, it seems that we are so out of touch with reality, and I think that AI has a lot to do with it. We use AI more than we care to admit, to make videos, to envision the perfect dream home, to help us write that email that we have been worried about writing to your boss or an external stakeholder. It does make our lives easier, but it takes away certain elements such as creativity, thinking and thinking critically, solving problems, and writing code. Our brains are getting lazy because of AI. The greatest philosophers of our time have said numerous quotes about creativity, and here we are crushing it. For example, the philosopher Epictetus once said: "Nothing great is created suddenly, any more than a bunch of grapes or a fig. If you tell me that you desire a fig, I answer you that there must be time. Let it first blossom, then bear fruit, then ripen." This tells us in order to create something great will take time, we cannot keep expecting AI to do the great work for us. Besides, what lives in one's mind is probably better than anything AI can do.
