Hello everyone, I recently went through a severe trauma and turned to alcohol. I am currently in the recovery phase, but I am writing down what I have learned in this phase, one by one. I believe that Novel Allen's most recent story deserves more recognition! She really came through with the come through and brought joy, talent, class & elegance to the table. Here is her epic masterpiece: https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/tiffanor-sheenora-and-the-invisible-dragon#comment-551b3c05-1de9-4283-8198-c6fe775a9b26%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
Hi everyone! I go by Maddy, and I write a little bit of everything. I love to write short stories and poems, and more recently, I have been writing a lot of reviews and rankings to movies and TV shows. I have to give a shoutout to Cheryl E. Preston first of all. Her piece "Scooby-Doo Where Are You: Some things have remained a mystery," inspired me to write a list talking about some of my favorite Scooby-Doo episodes. A link to her written piece is here: https://shopping-feedback.today/geeks/scooby-doo-where-are-you-some-things-have-remained-a-mystery%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E. I also highly recommend R. B. Booth's works, including "Father Squire, Son Knight," (https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/father-squire-son-knight%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 and "Smile," (https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/smile-a32hf40a3s%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 they are some incredibly creative and well-written pieces. Mike Singleton's "THEM," (https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/them-dlj0k00v4%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 is also spectacular, he has a ton of great pieces to choose from though, it's hard to pick just one. Dharrsheena Raja Segarran's "Sugar-Laced," (https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/sugar-laced%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 and "Clandestine," (https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/clandestine-sc6d904j2%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 are amazing. Be sure to check out Michael Bates' most recent "The Last Body Before Dawn" (https://shopping-feedback.today/fiction/the-last-body-before-dawn%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29, Lamar Wiggins' "Enjoying the moments of now" (https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/enjoying-the-moments-of-now%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29 and Baby Iverson's "SUMMER SOLSTICE" (https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/summer-solstice-pq39904d5%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%29.%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">

There are so many of his (Mike Singleton) that I would like to link, but I will link this one, as it is one of his most recent: https://shopping-feedback.today/fyi/interaction-is-a-good-thing%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E My comment: I agree, we should support each other where we can. Judey kalchik, I am subscribed to her but I donāt drop by nearly as often as I should. I will make a start at that by reading the one youāve left a link to. I will note down that I need to drop my work into themed threads. I think itās lovely that you take following the rules, seriously. Even if it is an autistic trait, it makes a lot of sense why you do. Iāve just joined ViM. Iāll keep the short intros in mind as well. Your conclusion is like a big hug. Thank you for explaining these things to us. This was a very informative and supportive piece. š¤ā„ļø

Only two this week⦠my time was limited⦠due to extra activity in my home!!! Vicki Lawana Trusselli did an exceptional job with āRemembering Summer of 1967.ā This one sent shivers through me - thatās how powerful it is! https://shopping-feedback.today/confessions/remebering-summer-of-1967%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Rachel Robbins wrote an engaging yet professional review on the 1985 film Amadeus. Hey folks, Paul the writer here, who specialises in poetry and fiction. And bigging others up. Or trying to. Here are a selection of truly impressive examples of writing: LC's masterclass in brevity as an emotional punch in this poem - https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/where-are-you-905rs07ht%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Kenny Penn's powerful and sobering poem - https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/they-forgot-after-all%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Angela Hepworth has been writing some phenomenal poetry recently without letup and this is one of the best - https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/clocked-in%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E That is it for now. At least. Thanks.
Hi! My name is Caitlyn Wenzel, I only just recently joined Vocal but Iām absolutely having a blast! Writing poetry is one of my favorite experiences and regular pastimes. I like to write about whatever comes to mind or comes from the heart. I love experimenting and playing with words and structure. Hereās a shameless plug before I share some other poetsā pieces that you ought to check out: https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/caught-in-the-cracks%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E I read quite a few poems and I honestly have quite a few Iād like to mention! In no particular order, here are some poems I found enjoyable and insightful. āone dayā by Stephanie Hilton https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/one-day-0w18pr08um?modal=open (Loved Stephanieās use of language and repetition to portray hope for and longing for change in a very painful but very real kind of way. I found it relatable and evocative) āIām shyā by Michele Nampalli https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/i-m-shy?modal=open (Micheleās use of structure and word choice made the voice of this piece so subtle yet powerful at the same time, it felt like the poem was whispering to me.) āLimboā by Brandis G. https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/limbo-lojai0i6l?modal=open (The ability for Brandis to write about such a personal and understandably difficult experience and have it breathe beautifully on the page shows outstanding skill and resilience in my opinion, beautiful and very relevant subject matter, definitely captured āLimboā) āDisappeared Into A Thoughtā by Kelli Sheckler-Amsden https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/disappeared-into-a-thought?modal=open (I had a grandma who went through a similar experience so for me personally this poem was heartbreaking and beautifully composed by Kelli. The structure really felt like when you canāt quite remember something. The use of enjambment made it feel like the narrator is struggling to hold onto any one train of thought for too long before another subject begins to rest on the tip of their tongue.) ā āBend Donāt Breakā ā by Marcus Hill https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/bend-don-t-break?modal=open (Sometimes we just have to hold steadfast in the face of adversity because even though it hurts, love, togetherness, and unity are worth braving the storm. Marcusās words were quite moving.) Changing The Game by Janalam https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/changing-the-game-0cz90yaa?modal=open (This poem legitimately feels like it should just be my motto or way of life. Why write if not for the love of the craft and the beauty of reaching othersā hearts? I tip my hat to you Janalam, you have indeed seen through the wealth game, and changed the rules for the better.) āWeeds Disguised as Rosesā by Sabrina Taylor-Smith https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/weeds-disguised-as-roses?modal=open (Sabrinaās imagery sings to me, really brings out the emotion and conflict of this piece. I think we all know some weeds disguised as roses.) āAffabilityā by William Alfred https://shopping-feedback.today/poets/affability?modal=open (And here are two poets that Iām just obsessed with overall right now and canāt decide on a specific piece to insert Mahmood Afridi https://shopping-feedback.today/authors/mahmood-afridi%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E and Luna Jordan https://shopping-feedback.today/authors/luna-jordan%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I encourage anyone who reads this to go check them out, give āem a comment or some insight, maybe drop a like and subscribe. Great stuff from great poets.
