Gave me goosebumps, LC! Small children don't expect to encounter ghostly things, but always expect to find parents in their beds.
For a child every experience is a new one, and that unknown is definitely scary. I love how the viewpoint feels so limited, it leaves you wondering if the parents were truly missing or in danger, or if they were just in another room over, but to a 3 year old what's the difference? Succinct and powerful, bravo!
Well, isn't there a ghost in every dark corner when you're little
Plot twist, the parents are the ghosts hehehe
Ohhhh imma fan of u
Ouch. This hits hard. Brevity as an emotional punch. Loved this a whole damn lot. Stunning work, LC, stunning. So relatable and intense.
