They cried for starved kids,
Promising never again,
Unless they’re Muslims?
Weaponized hunger,
Recognized as a warcrime,
Everywhere but here.
Hypocrisy is,
When you support genocide,
While shouting Hamas.
Maybe the bastards,
Terrorizing innocents,
Are in the mirror.
You say you’re Christian,
But justify bombings kids,
What would Jesus do?
He’d shout ‘till they say,
From the River to the Sea,
Palestine, you’re free.

This needs to be said and needs to be heard. You are right on! We all have a role to play and whether we are the oppressors explicitly, or the ones being indifferent and neglectful, we need to recognize how we impact this abhorrent behavior. I believe you are someone who definitely knows how to use your words to evoke emotions and be people's call to action. Keep doing what you're doing.
Hit the nail on the head, Sir. This is sad, angering, powerful but beautifully penned so that it's distilled to the important message. Giving it a nod in RYV. Read it before but must have forgotten to comment. Oops.
I don't know where the people who are shouting about human rights are now. Do they not see the injustice of Palestine or do they not consider it injustice at all?
I cannot comprehend how a human can do these things to another human. It's just so baffling
It’s just horrific, what’s been happening in Palestine. It feels like we’re helpless to do anything.
This is so much more complicated then we can hope to understand Hate for many years on both sides The Oct 7th blew up a bomb where the fuse had already been lit Both sides are guilty And the innocent pay, those children had no say and now some never will
Unfortunately at this point in time the Palestinians haven’t a chance. Had the 2024 election went differently they’d have a chance.
