Henry Cavill and Guy Ritchie's New Action Thriller Gets an Uncertain Update
Will Guy Ritchie’s long-awaited action thriller In the Grey ever see the light of day? Despite wrapping production in the summer of 2023, the film’s fate is still uncertain, and it may stay that way for a while. On paper, the project has everything going for it: Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González lead the cast, with Ritchie behind the camera and his trademark brand of stylish, high-stakes chaos at the center. The story follows two extraction specialists and a high-level negotiator tasked with rescuing a group that “operates in the middle of criminality and the law.” It’s the kind of premise tailor-made for Ritchie’s kinetic storytelling, in the vein of The Covenant, Wrath of Man, and The Ministry of Ungentlemenly Warfare.

Thunderbolts
When the cast of characters for Thunderbolts was first announced I was immediately skeptical because I truly hate when things happen off screen. And John Walker did not do enough by the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier for Bucky to just be chill being on a team with him. So I definitely went into this movie with some reservations. The internet raved about it, but the general public is so often wrong, especially when it comes to comic book movies that it did nothing to ease my concerns.

Honey, Don't!
I have taken my gummies for the evening but I still have to do a review so here we are. You are getting my unfiltered stream of consciousness thoughts on Honey, Don't! I felt like this was a good choice to watch while high and boy was I correct. So be careful of sentences that aren’t real sentences. Please remember that I am intoxicated with the devil's grass.

The Utopia That Never Was: Why Zootopia 2 Is a Warning About the Controlled Chaos of Modern Society
Chapter 1: The Lie of the Perfect City If you look at the marketing for Zootopia, you see a bright, shining metropolis. You see high speed trains, diverse biomes, and technological advancement. You see a world where a rabbit can be a cop and a fox can be a businessman.

The Golden Cage: Why ‘Die My Love’ Will Expose the Lie We Were All Sold About Happily Ever After
Chapter 1: The Script We Inherit From the moment you are old enough to understand language, you are handed a script. It is handed to you by your parents, your teachers, the cartoons you watch, and the advertisements you see. The script is very simple, and it promises you paradise. It says:

The Choral
Sitting in a full-house matinee performance of The Choral, it was hard to deny that the age demographics skewed upwards. I felt positively youthful. A friend of mine had tried to entice her teenaged daughter to see it, but she declined with a “It looks boring.” A clear generation divide. Ironic, really – as this is a key theme of the work – how different generations fail to see each other. It opens with a too young teenaged boy tasked with the delivery of telegraphs to war-widowed families.

The Monster in the Mirror: Why Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ Is Not a Horror Movie—It’s a Prophecy
Chapter 1: The God Complex We live in an era obsessed with optimization. Look at your daily routine. You probably track your sleep with a watch, track your calories with an app, and track your productivity with a spreadsheet. We are constantly trying to hack our biology. We are trying to cheat exhaustion. We are trying to cheat aging. And ultimately, we are trying to cheat death.
