Part XXXVII: Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness

The 37th edition of our "Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness" series includes another trio of women from the track and field world. One makes music, another is working to make a name for herself within her program, the other is already an Olympian and looking to doing it again. Check it out as we continue this hot ride through the heated season.

Ja'la Henderson

We knew that some time before the summer ended that she would get in this series and she did. Ja'la Henderson is a versatile woman. She's most known for her highly successful career in track and field where she was a five-time All-American at Wyoming. Over her career as a long and triple jumper, she won six Mountain West conference championships.

Henderson is also a recording artist, as she just released a single called "Be Careful," which can be heard on all streaming platforms. She also has notable singles entitled, "I Wanna Be With You," and "Delusional."

The budding also works as a model, visually delighting 22,500 of her followers on Instagram. As she does all of these things, she still may be seen in the Olympics some day. Stay tuned.

Jasmine Walker

A sprinter at Cal State Bakersfield, Jasmine Walker has been grinding to rise up the ranks in the Western Athletics Conference. She competes on her team's 400 and 1,600 meter relay teams. She also runs the 200 and 400-meter dashes.

Walker's best open placing was at the Fresno Pacific Sunbird Invitational back in 2018 where she finished second in the 400-meter dash.

Desiree Henry

United Kingdom Olympian Desiree Henry won a bronze medal at the 2016 games held in Brazil. She was a member of the 400-meter relay squad. She also has a silver medal in the same event at the 2017 World Championships.

Her 14,000 Instagram followers can watch a fun video of her doing a dance workout with her mom on IGTV. Henry has gold medals from the 2011 World Youth Championships in the 200-meter dash, as well as the 2013 European Junior Championships and 2014 European Championships in the 400-meter relay.
