The ladies we are featuring today represent the fullness of life. They know how to have a good time and they're also ambitious in their paths which include education. The versatility of today's woman is something to celebrate. Even better is the fact that we have platforms that can make it so that they're stories are no longer hidden or unknown.
Alana Walker
If last year was the "Hot Girl Summer" this year is definitely the "Alana Walker Summer." Getting her second feature in our series, Walker is now just under 90,000 followers on Instagram and is taking over the imaginations of her fan base. She's even taking over on Tik Tok with over 148,400 followers and 2 million likes.
Crazy right? We didn't even tell y'all that her daddy used to drop three pointers with the Boston Celtics. That's right, NBA All-Star Antoine Walker is her pops. Walker lives the life as she's full of joy on every video whether she's with her friends or solo.
Oh and don't forget she's a volleyball star. Check her out with the Northwestern Wildcats. She's rocking number 20.
Isabella Ricardo
Headed to college, Isabella Ricardo just wrapped up a career at Ferguson High School in Miami. She helped her team finish at 13-7 which included a season opening 89-8 win.
The beautiful Cuban uses her Instagram to showcase her fun times on the beach with friends as well as fashion and a few basketball photos as well. The futures is bright for this stylish young star in the making.
Brynn Santos
Now headed to Azusa Pacific, Brynn Santos started her path as a collegiate athlete at Kent State. The Illinois native showed up to the university in northeast Ohio and earned All-Academic status in 2019.
In an interview Santos said, "I have become such a strong person mentally and physically by being on the track team and I have learned how to face adversity head-on. I have been cultivated by the fight between who I am and who I want to be and I push myself every day to reach the goals I have set for myself."
Along with being a track star, Santos has taken time out to enterprise as a business woman while exercising activism. She has created t-shirts called "Equali-Tees." There are shirts that read, "Black is Beauty-Ful," "No Justice No Peace" and "Skin Tone is Not a Crime" just to name a few. You can find your favorite shirt @blm.equalitees on Instagram.
Treasure
A fitness trainer, Treasure owns Limitless Fitness which is, "a one stop shop for your body goal needs." Her 134,000 followers get mental health tips. As for dealing with anxiety as she tells her followers how to breathe, meditate and exercise.
She also shares myths about how people think incorrectly about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Some people think that only folks who have been through war can suffer from the disorder but Treasure talks to her followers about how anyone can suffer from it. She also educates people on bipolar and schizophrenia disorders.
Treasure provides a safe place for those dealing with mental issues, where they can listen and learn about how to deal with their problems.
