Part XI: Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness

Issue 11 of this series is here. We're not stopping, no matter the pandemic or what injustices that occur, greatness exists. We can't say it enough. Before all of this madness, our society constantly took in so much negativity with celebrity scandal among other things.

Yes this series showcases beauty on the surface but the heart of it is to celebrate great people who are accomplishing their goals in life. They show us that whatever we want in life is attainable. All of these women have their challenges but somehow they manage to fight through and be examples of greatness.

Welcome to the 11th installment of the "Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness." We will run this series throughout the summer.

Ayan Broomfield

This Canadian born tennis player has had a decorated career throughout the years. Ayan Broomfield won the NCAA doubles championship in 2019 with UCLA teammate Gabby Andrews. That season, she was also an All-American. If you follow her Instagram account, you can see her and Andrews' run to their championship in her "Nattys" highlight reel.

Prior to transferring to UCLA, Broomfield competed for Clemson where she was the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2016. She was also named All-ACC Second Team in 2016 and 2017.

Broomfield was featured on the Amazon Prime Video project, "Ayan Broomfield Tennis Story," where she shared her experience about being a national champion and her journey in the sport.

Jasmyn Allen

Before suffering an injury that halted her indoor season, Kent State's Jasmyn Allen was having a good season. She earned the first two wins of her college career in the 60-meter hurdles this year. At the Akron/Central Michigan Dual she won her first meet with a time of 8.69. Allen also competed in the 60-meter dash during that meet where she finished second.

Her second win in the 60-meter hurdles came at the Kent State vs. Akron Dual. There she raced to a time of 8.73. Allen's best time of the season came at the Akron Invitational where she placed second at 8.61.

Madalyn Roseberry

A jumps specialist at Virginia Commonwealth University, Madalyn Roseberry is a colorful personality who also specializes in body ink. Her 16,000 plus Instagram followers can see her tattoos that she's designed along with her drawings.

Roseberry's highlights section on Instagram, takes her followers on journeys around North America, from Puerto Rico to Hawaii. With a smile that lights up the room, she has shined on the field as an All-Virginia triple jump honoree in high school during the 2017 season.

Jennifer Ramsey

Jennifer Ramsey is the first person to be featured twice in this series. The Wright State track and field athlete has added something new to her resume. Along with being an athlete, she also has a fitness page to inspire all of us to get it together physically.

Ramsey now has a new lashes business called Confident Not Cocky Lashes. Along with that, her swimsuit photos on Instagram have been a highlight of the summer season. With all that being said, did we even mention her first collegiate victory which came in the 400-meter dash this year at the Ball State Tune-Up meet with a time of 59.06. Ramsey is a woman who can do it all!
