"Dance; the hidden language of the soul."
Franz Ferdinand - The Human Fear in Review
Although I said as part of my ABCommunities Challenge (thanks again, John Cox), that I would try and do something a little different for any communities I've written before in a few times, I love this album so wanted to talk about it.

Peace Vibes 2
With Part Two of the EP Trilogy of lyrics, the waves become more clear as the wet suit takes on the wave itself. The whole actualized experience of meditation in a form, meaning the flow can be controlled by the apple now floating depicted by levitation and also means, a lift in meaning. Abundance is also present in more lyrics and different languages. So, let's begin then in explanation.

2024 Soundtrack
Party Train by The GAP JANUARY 1, 2023, we awoke early to finish preparations for guests and our good luck New Year's Day meal for friends and family. "Party Train" by The Gap was blasting throughout the house; we danced around the kitchen while my husband prepared the meat, and we set out snacks. Guests were arriving impatient to eat his exceptional food. We had collard greens symbolizing greenbacks (folding paper money), black-eyed peas to bring wealth in coins, and lima beans and rice, our standard comfort foods for gatherings. He always makes chicken and sometimes his famous baby back ribs.

My Musical Journey of 2024. Content Warning.
In January, I listened to a lot of sea shanty style music or Irish jig music. I needed the upbeat tunes to help me stay present for my children as I was fighting an upward battle with feeling like I could never make it out of my life's circumstances whole.

Sounds of the Cottage. Runner-Up in The Soundtrack of Your Year Challenge. Top Story - January 2025.
The evening that my best friend Julia texted, I was having a glass of wine with my husband. The dogs were sprawled all over us like live rugs, the windows and sliding door were open to let in the spring breeze and we were having one of those ‘intellectual masturbation’ sessions where you randomly discuss nothing and everything about life, including its meaning.

2024: The Saga Continues Pt. 2. Content Warning.
2024 has been a year of roller coaster emotions, and that's putting it lightly. Music has been there through every moment... the beauty and the horror. There are always two sides to every story, including mine for 2024. The first side covered the darkest moments, the failures, the despair, the pain and the heartbreak. It becomes easy to allow the moments of hopelessness to reign and overshadow the moments of light... but what good does that bring? The moments of joy, relief, calm and love may be few and far between... but they exist and that is what makes the music of them so much sweeter as 2024 concludes.

The Soundtrack Of My Year
For the Soundtrack of Your Year Writer's Challenge I chose to start almost exactly a year ago when the worst Christmas topped my list. Without going into the gritty details and pitfalls of the year that were the first six months of it. If I had to force myself to see any positives I would have to say there are none. Other than this, from the collection of music I made. All of the lyrics came from my books of poems.
