Vestin Go had not used drugs or alcohol for seven months. His abstinence proved to be beneficial for his mental and physical well-being. He was making even more money, pulling thirty million dollars sometimes a day. He received a notice on his brain chip. Dr. Strong had invited him to sit down for an informal meeting with President Goshen. He accepted. He drove his Goulding coupe over to the Presidential Skyscraper. The two men had already put away the booze and sat in a sober kind of way. They didn’t laugh loudly or draw attention to themselves. Once Go had entered the inner sanctum of the president and his friend. Go stretched out his hand to shake Goshen’s.

Submitted, Objectively. Top Story - May 2025.
To those who’ve known and never heard of such ideas, “It’s a cult,” they yammer. Like blood spilling from their frothy lips, they speak of sacrifice and dying and suffering. They, however, never speak of joy, life, and excellence to be found on this Earth. They, still, call it a cult. The irony is overwhelming, their system of fate relates to tribalistic leanings and following mystical patterns that would herd all heads under a single yoke. After, they would be plucked one by one with the simplest assertion that their faith cannot be tested. One thing is to believe in something. Another is to say it’s real. If you believe in something, you don’t have to say it's real because it already exists.

By using proper hand signals, there seemed to be a certain flow and even a bit of verse in the way the wheels carried the rider. Who could it be other than Entrepreneur Paul arriving thirty minutes before a meeting.

Businesswoman Chapter 140
A sweet slumber held Lisa. Her body ached and her mind sought rest to repair that body. This compared to a miner extracting coal from a shaft. That bruising feeling of satisfaction from a full day’s work propelled her sleep. Then her alarm clock blared. She put her hand on her chest as she rocketed up from her pillow. Her eyes widened.

A fountain burbled near where Loreen checked into the posh Mercier Hotel. She would be staying for three days straight and didn’t want to commute from her house. Loreen would see at least fifty million dollars by the end of the talks. All she wanted to do was enjoy the time with both of them and keep her mind off of the affront posed by the Collectivists. Common Man walked towards her.

Businesswoman Chapter 138
From a bicycle to a personal jet, Atkinson could relish whatever vehicle. Short trips to the market to pick up some fruits, vegetables and meats always proved to be worth it. He laid the game down to the ladies working at the various establishments. They took ride shares back to his house. Conversations lasted until the wee moments of the morning. Maybe six or seven women all laughed and then became dead serious when discussing ideas. A woman named Sarme spoke. She had blue black skin and hazel eyes that made it look like two flames danced on her face.

Businesswoman Chapter 137
Loreen selected the 1971 Diamondhead Sport One. Metallic gold with silver rims, it had actually gained in value over the years. Once she fastened her seatbelt, she turned over the engine. The pur from this beast enlivened her. She used the manual transmission like a ringmaster, guiding the vehicle with precision and poise. Gravel spit as she put the car in drive.

Businesswoman Chapter 136
Cameras and microphones pervaded the space. Two broadcasters and an engineer all sat in comfy, high-end office chairs. Loreen sat just as relaxed. She sat straight up and looked composed. It was like she was schooled at the art of proper posture. The co-host, Dylan Roberts, launched another question.

Chanda Go pored over the data. Pie charts, bar graphs, and seemingly endless sets of numbers flew past her. “At least I don’t have to be forced to pay taxes,” she muttered under her breath. The skate shop Got to Go had seen a dip in sales in the past few months. She wondered why this fact remained. There appeared to be discrepancy among the 18–34 year-old set. In the previous year’s quarter, their numbers continued to grow. Now, this dwindling effect befuddled her. In her office, she spun around on her chair and saw more computer screens with a sharp decline in engagement among all other demographics, including the coveted aforementioned crowd who just became adults and those under 35.
