Laugh During the Holidays
During the holidays we can always use good cheer so it is great that we can also find amusing Christmas songs. No tears listening to these songs just a jolly good time. So set up the egg nog, turn on the music, and get ready to rock around the Christmas tree.

Christmas on Canvas
Dutch Artists Portinari Altarpiece Hugo van der Goes Dutch artist Hugo van der Goes created this artwork which became one of the most famous Christmas paintings in history. The artist was known for creating religious scenes and had been commissioned to paint altarpieces. This artwork was done as the altarpiece for the chapel inside the hospital of Santa Maria Nuova in Florence, Italy. Today it can be viewed at the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence. This painting focuses on the Nativity as well as the Adoration of the Shepherds.

Named for Sir Walter Raleigh In 1788 the city of Raleigh was chosen to be the capital of North Carolina. It was named for Sir Walter Raleigh, who was the sponsor of the Colony of Roanoke. Known as the “Lost Colony”, it has been commemorated at the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site on Roanoke Island.

Lovely Cardiff
Cardiff is the capital and largest city in Wales in the UK. Cardiff Castle was built on top of a nearly 2000-year-old Roman fortification. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Wales. Some of the castle's oldest sections date back to the 10th century. Among the highlights are the State Apartments. The rooms are full of interesting displays and information that relates to the people who once lived there. Other highlights include the chapel, the clock tower, and the Banqueting Hall, full of artwork and murals. You can join a guided tour.

Hershey a World of Chocolate
Hershey is the town that was created for the workers at Milton Hershey’s Chocolate Factory. Hersheypark the theme park just loved by families and people of all ages. It features roller coasters, various rides, themed areas, entertainment, and places to eat and relax. In the beginning, it was created for the employees working at the chocolate factory and today it is a major attraction for tourists. There are six themed areas – Founder’s Way winds through the park from the main gate to a junction where you’ll find Kissing Tower Hill, The Hollow, and Pioneer Frontier meeting up and then there is Midway America and The Boardwalk with themed shops, restaurants, rides, and attractions.

US Capital History New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York
Site of George Washington's First Victory During the War of Independence, the site where Trenton stands was the place of George Wahington's first victory over the Redcoats. The city is the namesake of William Trent, one of the leading landowners and it was first known as Trent-towne later shortened to Trenton.
