Wildlife of the Netherlands

The European country The Netherlands is also known as Holland. It is located between Belgium, Germany, and the Atlantic Ocean. The country encompasses the Caribbean Islands of Bonaire, Saba, and Saint Eustatius in the Lesser Antilles chain.

The National Symbol of The Netherlands is the lion. It is a popular regal symbol of strength and power throughout European history. It is part of the country’s Coat of Arms.
