Beware in the Rainforest
Amazonian Manatees These are gentle giants known for their slow movements. They are herbivores feeding on aquatic vegetation. Being shy and elusive the keep to calm waters so they can graze. Manatees are a symbol of the river’s rich biodiversity and the importance of protecting endangered species.

Famous Tree Paintings
Cairn in Snow Caspar David Friedrich German Romantic landscape artist Caspar David Friedrich created this painting of a grove of trees. A grove of trees were known to represent initiation ceremonies and concealment in ancient times adn thought t o be sacred and untouchable. These trees which the artist has depicted appear to have been deserted and most of their branches are cut off. In the center of the painting, three stones are piled one on top of the other. The biggest stone stands on top of the two smaller ones, implying the concealment of a burial site.

Capital Cities of Africa Bujumbura
Rusizi National Park is among the top attractions in Burundi. It has lots of natural beauty and a diverse range of wildlife. The main highlight of the park is the Rusizi River flowing through it. Visitors can take a boat safari upon the river. It is home to hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.
