With You At Twilight Time
"Twilight Time" is a popular song with lyrics by Buck Ram and music by the Three Suns (Morty Nevins, Al Nevins, and Artie Dunn). Ram said that he originally wrote it as a poem, without music, while in college. Original instrumental recordings of "Twilight Time" included those made respectively by the Three Suns (1944) and Les Brown & His Band of Renown (1945). The best-known version of this song ws recorded in 1958 by the American vocal group The Platters. The song charted at number one on both the Pop Singles and R&B Best Sellers charts. In 1963, The Platters recorded a Spanish version of the song entitled "La Hora del Crepúsculo", sung in a rhumba-style tempo.

Delectable Pies
Europe Finland Mustikkapiirakka is a traditional blueberry pie. The crust is a combination of flour, butter, sugar, eggs, and baking powder. Once mixed the dough is pressed into a tart pan, pricked by a fork, and pre-baked. The filling consists of fresh blueberries, sour cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cardamom then placed in the over until the filling is set and the edges are brown.

Strolling Through Beautiful Castles Lithuania
Birzai Castle Birzai Castle was built in the 1500s to defend the Birzai Dutchy from invaders coming from the North. The castle was strategically built to control the trade and the region. At one time it was destroyed by the Swedes but then rebuilt. The white arched and alcoved facade is one of the most striking features here. Today it is part of an open-air museum where visitors can learn about its history and how people once lived.

Lou Christie was a talented singer who came into this world as Lugee Alfred Giovanni Sacco on February 19, 1943. He became a talented singer and when he was just fifteen he befriended American songwriter Twyla Herbert who became his main songwriting partner until 2009. Lou Christie passed away on Jume 17, 2025. The pirate ship bounded over the waves, the Jolly Rodger waving in the breeze. Out upon the deck, stepped the Pirate King and his motley crew froze in fear. Peg legged Pete stopped swabbing the deck, Fat Fred’s big belly shook in fright, one-eyed Sam’s hands trembled upon the wheel. The only one who was far enough away, Crazy Andy up in the crow’s nest, desperately looking for land. The Pirate King his feet spread wide, raised up his right hand, upon which was a gleaming sliver hook and he shouted, ”The island, where’s the island?”

Strolling Through Beautiful Castles Latvia
Aluksne Castle The castle is situated on one of the islands in Lake Aluksna in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. The Teutonic Order constructed it in the 14th century. The original construction was of wood but later parts were rebuilt in stone and other local materials. Today the castle is a beautiful picturesque site that is part of an open-air recreational area.
