"Twilight Time" is a popular song with lyrics by Buck Ram and music by the Three Suns (Morty Nevins, Al Nevins, and Artie Dunn). Ram said that he originally wrote it as a poem, without music, while in college. Original instrumental recordings of "Twilight Time" included those made respectively by the Three Suns (1944) and Les Brown & His Band of Renown (1945). The best-known version of this song ws recorded in 1958 by the American vocal group The Platters. The song charted at number one on both the Pop Singles and R&B Best Sellers charts. In 1963, The Platters recorded a Spanish version of the song entitled "La Hora del Crepúsculo", sung in a rhumba-style tempo.
"Some Enchanted Evening" is a show tune from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "South Pacific". It has been described as "the single biggest popular hit to come out of any Rodgers and Hammerstein show.
"In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening" is a popular song with music by Hoagy Carmichael, and lyrics by Johnny Mercer. The song was used for the 1951 film "Here Comes the Groom" and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Among the most popular versions of this song was sung by American singer and actor Bing Crosby.
"Until the Night" is a song that was written by American singer and songwriter Billy Joel for his 1978 album 52nd Street. It was released as the second single from 52nd Street in the UK and charted on the UK Singles Chart.
"Night Moves" is a song that was recorded by the American singer and songwriter Bob Seger. It was the lead single from his ninth studio album of the same name (1976). The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became Seger's first hit single since "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" from 1969. The song changed Seger from a popular regional favorite to a national star.
"Because the Night" is a rock song from 1977 written by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith. It is featuired on her 1978 album Easter, The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles charts.
"Twistin' the Night Away" is a song that was written and recorded by the American singer and songwriter Sam Cooke. It charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard R&B charts as well as on the UK Singles chart. The song was recorded with The Wrecking Crew as session musicians, including Rene Hall as band leader, Red Callender on bass, Earl Palmer on drums, Tommy Tedesco and Clifton White on guitars, Ed Beal on piano, John Kelson, John Ewing and Jewell Grant on saxophone and Stuart Williamson on trumpet.
"All Night Long (All Night)" is a song that was recorded by the American singer and songwriter Lionel Richie. It is featured on his 1983 album Can's Slow Down. The song combined Richie's Commodores style with Caribbean influences. It went to number one on three Billboard charts (pop, R&B and adult contemporary). The song also charted on the UK Singles chart.
"Rock the Night" is a song that was recorded by the Swedish rock band Europe and released as a single in 1986. The song was written by vocalist Joey Tempest in 1984 and premiered on the band's Wings of Tomorrow tour the same year. The song was featured in the soundtrack of the Swedish film "On the Loose". The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles charts. The song was included in the 2007 film "Hot Rod" and the European version of the Nintendo DS game Guitar Hero: On Tour.

"Strangers in the Night" is a song composed by Bert Kaempfert with English lyrics by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder. American singer and actor Frank Sinatra took the song to number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Easy Listening charts. The success of the song led to the release of the album Strangers in the Night which included the title song. This release became Sinatra's most commercially successful album. Sinatra won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and for Record of the Year.
