Time Flies on Gossamer Wings
“Time in a Bottle” is a song that was written and recorded by the American singer and songwriter Jim Croce. It is featured on his 1972 album You Don’t Mess Around with Jim. In 1973 when Croce died in a plane crash the song was played frequently on the radio and became a very demanded single. It was Croce’s second and final number one hit in the US. “Time in a Bottle” was the third posthumous Billboard number one hit after “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding and “Me and Bobby McGee” by Janis Joplin.

The Addams Family So you remember the original spooky, kooky family known as the Addams? The series became popular and aired from 1964 to 1966. There are Addams Family cartoons and more recent movies. These characters remain popular to this day. It all started with Gomez Addams played by John Astin and Carolyn Jones as Morticia. Basically the show was filmed at Desilu Studios, with their mansion depicted using a combination of set designs and exterior shots, often featuring a large, Gothic-style house.

Flemish artist Jan Brueghel the Elder was known for his collaborations with Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens. His artwork followed various genres, among them historic paintings, still lifes, and landscapes. The artist was an innovator and invented new painting types such as flower garlands and paradise landscapes. As court painter to the Archduke and Duchess Albrecht and Isabella, he earned nicknames like "Velvet" Brueghel and "Paradise" Brueghel for his mastery in rendering fabrics and landscapes.

The song was written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam. The song went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. It became Huston’s first number one single on the Dance/Disco Club Play chart. The single was certified platinum by the RIAA. Houston won the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Famous French Artists
French artist Georges Braque was known as one of the most famous French painters of the 20th century. He was also a sculptor, collage artist, and printmaker. Braque was a leading artist during the Fauvism movement and one of the leading artists who led the way to Cubism. Among his best-known artworks is Fruit Dish and Glass, created in 1912.
