Amazing Animals the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is one of Africa’s most biodiverse countries. It is home to the mountain gorillas. The country is home to the oldest national park in Africa, Virunga National Park. The diverse landscape includes rainforests, savannas, wetlands, and volcanic landscapes.

Upon the Waves of the Atlantic
Bluefintuna are fish that have a high tolerance for disparity in temperatures since they have the ability to keep warm. These fish have a metallic blue color that blends into their environment. With their streamlined bodies, they can build up speed gliding through the water. They feed on herring, mullet, mackerel, squid, crabs, and shrimp. They’re known for traversing the Atlantic Ocean repeatedly each year.

Famous Swiss Artists
Swiss artist and illustrator Albert Anker became the “national painter” of Switzerland for his endearing depictions of life in a Swiss village in the 19th century. He took drawing lessons with painter Louis Wallinger and later attended the Gymnasium Kirchenfeld in Bern. At the University of Halle in Germany, the artist was inspired by art collections and decided to pursue a career in art. In Paris, he attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. His artworks include a series of pieces with Biblical and historical themes.

Strolling Through Beautiful Castle Serbia
Belgrade Fortress sits at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. The fortress has been conquered by the Byzantines, Ottomans, and Austro-Hungarians. The fortress is also home to a museum. In 1979 it was declared a Cultural Monument of Exceptional Importance and is protected by the Republic of Serbia. Belgrade Fortress is divided into four sections—two making up the fortress itself and two making Kalemegdan Park.

Musical Magic
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" became an Academy Award nominated song from the musical of the same name. In the delightful and entertaining movie, it was sung by American actor Dick Van Dyke, playing Caractacus Potts, and Sally Ann Howes, portraying Truly Scrumptious. They were joined by Heather Ripley as Jemima Potts and Adrean Hall as Jeremy Potts the children of Caractacus Potts. It is a wonderful, catchy, and sing-along kind of song.

Amazing Animals Republic of the Congo
The Republic of the Congo is also known as Congo-Brazzaville. It is a country on the western coast of Central Africa. Its capital, Brazzaville, is on the Congo River; the Kouilou-Nilari River drains the coastal plain, and the interior of the country has a central plateau with two basins to the north and the south.

Lurking Beneath the Pacific Ocean
Blue whales are the largest animals on Earth. These whales weigh in at 200 tons but are gentle giants. They give out deep, resonant calls that can be heard throughout the ocean. They feed on krill. Blue whales are known for taking amazing migrations along the Pacific coast.

Famous Austrian Artists
Austrian artist Friedrich von Amerling was one of the most important Austrian painters. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He was inspired by portrait painter Sir Thomas Lawrence and became renowned for his portraits of the aristocracy and courtly life. Among his best-known artworks is Lost in Dreams, featuring a young girl lost in her thoughts, which demonstrates the artist’s ability to capture the subject’s emotions and inner world.
