Vocal Acrostic Challenge

Hello Vocalites!

I'm looking to celebrate reaching 5,000 reads by hosting a little challenge!

I also have another motivation in hosting this challenge. I've recently been working on a project with the publication of my six part Vocalite Manifesto. And the final piece requires input from you! Yes, YOU!

So at the end of this challenge I will be including a shameless plug for my Conclusion to a Vocalite Manifesto where you can voice your suggestions for some changes to Vocal. (Oops! Did I do it already?)

As I learned from my last challenge that there's no better way to get eyes on a piece than to issue a challenge with some prizes. So yes, I'm definitely using this to get the word out. I want as much input from the Vocal community as I can get! And this seemed like a pretty fun way to do it!

Speaking of prizes, the ones for this go around are not as shiny, but I hope you still decide they're worth playing for!

But I'm getting ahead of myself! First, we need a prompt!

It's a simple one:

Write an acrostic poem using the word VOCAL

Yep, that's it! I know it's pretty basic, but I'm excited to see what you all come up with!

Now back to the prizes! There will be three categories and the winners will be selected by yours truly!

UPDATE: I'm adding the $3 I got on last week's Leaderboard, the $5 for the Top Story on this piece, and the $20 from this week's Leaderboard to the prize pool! So instead of the original $24 in prizes there is now $52 in prizes.

What each of these categories means I'm leaving open to your interpretation! Submissions are limited to one acrostic in each category! Share a link to your submission in the comments with a designation of which category you want to submit it to!
