In this Acrostic poem challenge—around the word VOCAL—I brought out the conflict that unfolds between emotions and logic. How do these two co-workers get along? The Heart—overemotional. The Brain—screams of logic. These two co-workers are always bickering — always trying to out-VOCAL the other! But beneath their daily drama lies the existential conundrum of their co-existence. What’s really at stake? What’s the grand loss that stems from their constant rivalry? Did they even read the job contract? Or check the office hour policy?- who wins in the end?
