Promises to Myself
I have a very long Favorties list on YouTube with many different songs. I am a passionate oldies fan but also like music from all kinds of genres. I am an American Latvian since both my parents came from Latvia. My mother taught me to enjoy both popular and traditional Latvian music. So my list includes songs in Latvian. I will listen to my favourite music more to brighten my mood, remember beautiful things that happened in the past, get me through my day quickly, and even train my brain. This mix calms me, soothes me and makes whatever I do during the day more straightforward to achieve. So in the new year, I shall have my music playing more often.

Powerful Habits That Make You More Assertive
What is assertiveness? Assertiveness is the ability of being able to stand up for yourself without being too pushy, but also standing your ground. It's being able to say no, but not having that mean you are a disrespectful person or aggressive. Being able to be more assertive can help you in all areas of life - it can help you become a more confident person, and it can help your relationships with friends and family.

Why is New Year's a good time for Resolutions?
As you might have guessed, #8 takes the most time as it affects the decisions you make this year. Therefore, you should make a shortlist of decisions that you can manage in the coming year. And since most of us don't have much time or energy for many additional features, you'll increase your chances of success with just one or two solutions. We have so much focus that we can devote to self-improvement, so too many decisions are a great way to avoid achieving too many goals you set for yourself.

Just a Journal
It seems the weather might finally be breaking this morning. It's only -28C, instead of almost -40, with windchills into the -50s. When I went out to check on the goats, it was almost comfortable. At least my skin didn't hurt by the time I returned to the house.

Meet Coach Christina Lynn
Coach Christina Lynn is one of the most recognized luminaries on the Clubhouse platform. Growing up on the North East Side of Detroit, wasn’t the most ideal childhood upbringing, but it was the one she had to experience in order to learn how to develop thick skin and a tough exterior. Warmly and affectionately known as “Coach”, Christina turned her tribulations into triumphs by learning her own mental blueprint and mastering self-awareness through finding the Most High and learning Biblical principles and the fundamentals of Natural and Universal Law. With this knowledge, she developed tools that have helped her to overcome the lows that can come through the contrast of life.

A resolution to rest.
Well, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. At least, I didn’t mean to say it that way, I did mean it though. Hey, hey! Your body here. Umm, not sure how to kick off this conversation with you now that I’ve got your attention, but a New Year is here and well… we need to do better. I’m sorry for talking to you like that earlier, as you can tell- I’m exhausted and a little irritable. Okay, medium irritable.
