Embracing Rest in 2022
It's chaos in my brain. Don't get me wrong, despite the rampant ideas, characters, and stories running around in there, I've clung to organization like a lifeline growing up. It's a strange combination, the maddening busy mind, and structure-driven desire.

Anxiety Sleeper
Sleep , sleep is something I hardly EVER get . I think of myself as a vampire up all day but I barely sleep at night . It’s amazing how my body still manages to keep going even when it quite literally has no gas in the tank . Anxiety has been my biggest problem to why I can’t sleep , I tend to think of all my life stress at night , bills , the baby I have on the way , my dads personal addictions that have effected my family so much . I guess I lay at night feeling alone and empty and that causes me to stay up . My mind is a wonderland of emotions that sometimes has more control of me and the outcome is a never ending thinking and no sleep .

My 50 things to achieve by my 50 th birthday .. From today June 9 2021 until July 19 2022....
I am a stay at home mum who has a few health issues and i like to try and make goals to work towards each year. If i dont reach all of them i am not going to get upset about it because i dont want to stress about them , rather they give me something to look forward to and take my mind off my pain, and i want to be a role model to my 2 adult children that you should always have goals and do your best to achieve them.

Goals: Setting Yourself Up for Success
With every new year comes resolutions made by determined people who are dead set on achieving their goals. Some of us set weight loss and fitness goals, while others focus on career growth and financial wellbeing. But despite our best intentions, a few months into the new year, our commitment wanes, and our once steadfast goals slowly become nothing more than another item on our years-long to-do list.

The New Year Doesn't Change Anything
A lot of people see the new year as a time to start fresh and do the whole "new year new me" thing. I think it's great that people can find motivation in our calendars changing, but it also leads to a lot of people putting a whole lot of pressure on themselves by setting unrealistic goals.

Save the whales
I am the queen of procrastination. For as long as I can remember my Moto was ‘New Year, New Me’. And when that fell through it was ‘New week, New me’ or ‘My diet starts on Monday’. But as many others, I am a creature of comfort. Forever crawling back into my same old habits.

Taking Stock of My 2022 New Year's Resolution
We all go around swearing that our lives are too complicated to manage. And, while most of us will readily concede that our rollercoaster lives are running amok, we remain convinced that there is little we can do about it!

Working Toward Success - Setting Goals and Creating an Action Plan
Achieving your goals can be difficult. The best way to make progress is by evaluating them every week. Make sure you're being honest about what might be affecting your progress. Are you always late for work? Are you always stressed out? Are you afraid you might make a mistake? Try not to feel bad when you fail - you're only human, so it's okay to have setbacks. However, if you don't address these problems in a timely manner, your goal may never materialize.

I need bigger dreams. Again.
I'm freaking out. We've all had these kinds of freak-outs. The kind where you sit very very still, say nothing, do nothing, stare with an intense gaze at the nothing in front of you, as the radio static in your brain fuzzes with an increasing rage, and your conscious battles to take stock of your current situation. You know the one I'm talking about. Frequently styled by men at the moment they are presented with the information of their impending fatherhood, or a specific breed of Shoreditch marketing agency worker who in between horrific client calls makes a desperate break for freedom to be confronted by the brutality of a Barista wielding the shocking and mind-bending phrase 'sorry, we only have decaf left' which as any 11h+ working day minion will tell you is more than enough to spark a spiral of self-reflection that will result in aforementioned freak-out before lumbering, a shell of who they once were, back into the office. Sorry, the 'communal, hot desk, flexi-work space'.
