My Review of "The Cutting Edge"
The Cutting Edge is a romantic comedy that came out back in 1992. Though this movie is over three decades old there's something to say about the leads in this movie. They are utterly charming and kept me glued to the movie to see what happens next. Movies are definitely not made like this anymore. In fact, I think this is such a cult classic that I believe the movie Blades of Glory is almost a one for one satire of this movie.

For the longest time, I never really had a favorite Christmas movie. Sure, I enjoyed the classics, but nothing ever stood out. Until now.

The Substance well explained: keys to understanding the trendy movie
The Substance, directed by the talented French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat, is the film of the year due to its originality, daring and black humor expressed through a unique body horror story. Demi Moore, the film's leading lady, has delivered the best performance of her career, and many see her as deserving of an Oscar. Margaret Qualley, who plays the villain in this story, has done an impressive job and has a bright future ahead of her.

Small Things Like These. Top Story - November 2024.
I read Claire Keegan’s Small Things Like These a couple of years ago. I watched the film produced and starring Cillian Murphy yesterday. “They” say films never live up to the book. I’m not sure I agree with whoever “they” are.
