My Review of "Rush Hour"
Rush Hour is a buddy cop movie that came out in 1998. This is one of the biggest movies to come out that year and I remember all the buzz coming out of it. When I first saw this movie, I loved it. It was Jackie Chan's first big North American movie. Rumble in the Bronx was popular but it was an old Hong Kong movie that was reissued to North America. This was his first big bona fide Hollywood movie. I'm not counting Cannonball.

My Review of "The Lion King (1994)"
The Lion King (1994) is a movie that was huge in pop culture when it first came out. It's actually still holds a small relevancy to the cultural zeitgeist of today after all these years. At the time, I never really got into Disney movies. It was one of the movies that changed my ideas of Disney movies. This was also shoveled down our throats everywhere we went back in the day. I'm surprised I still had an itch to watch this. I decided to take a chance and see how well it stands the test of time.

My Review of "Lilo & Stitch (2002)"
Lilo & Stitch (2002) is probably one of my favorite Disney animated movies of all time. I was never one to like Disney animated movies in the first place. When this movie came out I was really skeptical even though it seemed as though Disney was making big changes in their direction. Now so many years later, I wanted to see if this movie is still as good as I remember.

My Review of "Beauty and the Beast (1991)"
Beauty and the Beast is a Disney animated movie that came out in 1991. Back then it was quite ground breaking as it was the first time they would add CGI elements to a hand drawn animated movie. This movie was quite popular and did really well. I remember seeing it back in the day when I was a kid but I was curious how it would hold up after all of these years. Seeing as this was their first foray into CGI with hand drawn animation it would be interesting to see if it would stand the test of time.

My Review of "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl"
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl came out back in 2003. For me, it's hard to think that it's been that long since this movie came out. At the time, this was a revolutionary movie because the special effects blew our minds. It was also a long time since they've had a swashbuckling movie out in the theatres. I remembered liking this movie back in the day. With the last few movies I've watched, I had a bit of nostalgia and decided to check it out.

My Review of "The Sixth Sense"
The Sixth Sense is a horror movie that came out in 1999. At the time, this movie made huge waves in pop culture because it was so different and fun. The twist that shook the world. I think that year we had a whole slew of major movie plot twists that blew our mind. 1999 was an amazing year for movies. This one in particular got to me because I didn't like horror movies, yet I was enamored this movie.

My Review of "F1: The Movie"
F1: The Movie is a very fun Hollywood take on making a movie about Formula 1 racing. There are so many elements of Formula 1 that they could have taken but they took a conventional aspect and it works. It's probably everything that we expect from a movie like this and that's not a bad thing.

My Review of "The Accountant 2"
The Accountant 2 has come out and I don't think I really expected to ever come out. I think it's because it's almost been 10 years since the original movie came out. It wasn't crazy popular but I did like it when I saw it. At the time it did feel like there could be a sequel to this but after waiting close to 10 years you never think it's going to happen. After so much time has passed we don't really remember too much of the events that happened in the previous movie. Still I was happy that they made this sequel.

My Review of "Ocean's Twelve"
Ocean's Twelve was a highly anticipated sequel that came out in 2004. In the early 2000's these heist movies were quite popular and this was probably one of the movies that helped build the popularity of this genre. The first movie was a blast and I was a little hesitant for this follow up. Though the first movie did hint at this sequel. It just didn't go the way I had expected it to.

My Review of "My Cousin Vinny"
My Cousin Vinny is a comedy that came out in 1992. I think this is kind of a lost genre in movies. We don't get too many subtle adult targeted comedies anymore. Comedies today normally have slapstick or utterly absurd scenes. This movie is not raunchy or obscenely profane either. We get the odd swearing but it's only to make a point.

My Review of "Lethal Weapon 2"
Lethal Weapon 2 came out back in 1989, a mere 2 years from the original. This is kind of a movie that I would have expected from a sequel. It's bigger and louder but it's not exactly better either. Those of you that are wondering if it still captured that duo magic that the previous movie did, I would say yes. A lot of this movie is held up by the charisma of it's lead characters.

My Review of "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace"
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is a movie that I wanted to see when I was a kid. I never got to see it up until now. Knowing me back then, I would have ate this movie right up. It's not a great movie but seeing this in hindsight, there were some interesting things they added to this movie. Unfortunately, closer to the end it really all collapses.
