Dune Prophecy
The first episode of Dune Prophecy didn’t necessarily have pacing problems but they did try really hard to do a lot in a short period of time. I am hoping that this episode slows down a little and allows the story they are building to breathe a little bit. We were introduced to a lot of characters in the first episode and they all seem to have their own stories going on.

What Lessons can be Learned from ‘The Piano Lesson’?
Grade: A- If Malcolm Washington doesn’t win the Oscar® for best director, the Academy Awards is full of racists and should be banned…kidding. He does a fine job but the weight of the late great August Wilson’s powerful storytelling may prevent him from walking away with a golden statuette on Hollywood's biggest night.

Red One (Review)
Wanting to see some light-hearted entertainment, we decided to go the movie theater and bought tickets to the movie Red One, starring J.K. Simmons and Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, rated PG-13. The film begins with a boy who wants to spoil the mystery of Santa Claus for his friends and how it can’t possibly be true that presents are delivered to all children in one night. He is admonished by an adult as he is revealing his reasons.

Heretic - A Movie Review
Faith won’t save you if you don’t believe in yourself. After choosing which way into theaters, Heretic is a 2024 film. Two young missionaries become ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse when they knock on the door of Mr. Reed. Trapped in his home, they must choose carefully among their beliefs to make it out alive.

Cruel Intentions
Cruel Intentions has proved itself to be an incredible adaptation. They didn’t change anything major from the plot. They simply added to it, giving the characters more time to breathe and develop. I think the change in setting was brilliant and really aided the story. And though some of the characterizations were adjusted I think the integrity of the source material is fully intact. We are now in the finale of the season (perhaps series) and I hope they continue their brilliant writing through the end of the last episode.
