We've made it to our 40th edition of "Hot Summer Bods in Women's Sports & Fitness." We bring you some of the strongest women in the world both mentally and physically.
Breauna Eckman
This online coach is "empowering women through fitness." Breauna Eckman's 66,000 Instagram followers are coached through workouts and nutritional advice. Participants in her fitness programs can often win prizes which adds incentive for the women who are coached by Eckman.
"Every single day you have you have a new opportunity to grow," Eckman told her followers on her Instagram Highlight feed. "You have a new opportunity to build the life that you want to live, build the best you, the person that you want to become. Take risks. Take those opportunities. Jump on things that scare the hell out of you. Use your fears and doubts to your advantage. Face them head-on."
DanHeisha Harding
DanHeisha Harding works so hard on her physique that she has earned the nickname "The Body." Her workouts on IGTV are laboring and intense. They're not soft, cute and for show. Viewers can see the sweat, hear the grunts and feel the pain that she puts herself through to have the beautiful results that are displayed on her Instagram timeline photos.
Harding had a respectable collegiate career in track and field. In 2010 she won two conference championships as a hurdler and a relay member while at Eastern Kentucky. She finished her college career at Cincinnati but is still competing to this day. Earlier this year she collected wins in the 60-meter hurdles at the Flag City Opener and Tiffin Dragon Open.
Autumn Santos
Three times? Yes, three times. Autumn Santos has made her third appearance in this series. What else can we say about the two-time All-American from Minnesota State that we haven't said already? Maybe we never told you about how she was All-Academic during her time in college. That can't be celebrated enough. We're in a time where women are beginning to be celebrated regularly for athletics, but we cannot forget the importance of a woman who can achieve greatness in the classroom.
