Pumpkin White-Chocolate Snickerdoodles
Shortly before my twenty-first birthday I met my biological father and his five other kids. That same year I was invited to a family Thanksgiving to meet some of the extended family and since I wanted to make a good impression I decided to make a dessert. Part of my decision came from the fact that when I was growing up my step-grandfather and I would make pumpkin pies and/or cookies for various neighbors. My favorite cookies have always been white chocolate macadamia nut because it was the only cookie that had white chocolate and could be picked up just about anywhere. I have always disliked nuts in my baked goods and macadamia nuts stood above the rest because they are so large and take up way too much room. That being said I decided to troll Pinterest for ideas of what dessert to make and found a recipe for Pumpkin White Chocolate Snickerdoodles. These cookies are the perfect solution for any season but particularly the fall season when everybody and their dog wants 'pumpkin spice' everything.

Raspberry and Almond Cupcakes
Of course, you probably know me very well for invading Vocal with my film studies stuff and articles entitled ‘a filmmaker’s guide’. I have often explained that I love to bake as well. Since I was young, I have loved the idea, the creativity and the relaxation of baking different things. I love to make macarons, layer cakes and gingerbread in particular and the activity of it really gets me away from my laptop (where I’m sure you know that I spend most of my life). So, I hope you enjoy me talking about what I bake and why I bake it complete with pictures (if not very good) of me actually baking, my baked goods in the process of being created and when they’re finished. I’m really happy to share this with you. And if you like, you can show me your baking (yes, I spend a lot of time writing, but I also spend a lot of time reading other people’s articles!), I would love to see it. Since I was in school, I was always interested in creating things, whether that be pieces of writing, welding things to make small statues or baking foods and making sweets (candy, if you’re American). I hope you enjoy looking at some of the stuff that has honestly kept me sane, because I seem to be going slightly mad.

Chocolate Oreo Truffles Recipe
Oreos! Yum! Oreo Truffles is the perfect dessert for any occasion. Everyone loves Oreo Truffles! They are very easy to make, you need only a few ingredients. Perfect for impromptu parties and for those who do not usually make desserts. You can also serve it in variety of flavors such as peanut butter, Nutella, peppermint, and coffee! For me, Oreo Truffles topped with crushed nuts is the best. For today we’ll only discuss the basic Oreo Truffles recipe.

Have a 'Squashing' Time!
Really not a follower of trendy fads and most of the time going against the tide just to prove a point. However, when it comes to the autumnal practice, I do tend to align with the rest of the popular demand for pretty much everything cosy related or resembling the colour scheme of the changing tree leaves. That being said, bursting with both spontaneity and curiosity to diversify my newly embraced veggie diet, here I am picking up a butternut squash, a loaf sourdough bread, a sour cream pot and a blender.

Fall Food Memories
I anticipate October every year not only because I love fall; it is my favourite season of all, but also because I love Halloween. This love affair started when I was a child and continues to this day. I'm now a grandma of three who shares this love with my three grandchildren. When I was a child, we went trick or treating for our goodies, but as an adult I try to make fun and quick or pre-made meals before the trick or treating night out. They vary every year; the one thing that doesn't is that I try to make them hearty as we usually have snow, and the temperatures below zero Celcius.

Comfort Food for Spooky Season
October; the month of haunted houses, scary movies and... hearty, home-cooked meals? As the nights draw in and the weather gets colder, it seems there is nothing better than indulging in the nostalgia of childhood- whether that's dressing up in fun costumes, watching classic horror films (I will never forgive 'The Exorcist' for many sleepless nights), or filling the kitchen with the sweet smell of Grandma's recipe. Maybe even all three, simultaneously!

Welcome To Tradition
Autumn and Winter are My favorite seasons. Southeastern United States can be hot, muggy, sweaty and humid. It was great to spend time at my other Grandparents because they have a swimming pool. However, My favorite Grandparents were Mamaw and Papaw. Every Sunday at My Grandparents we participated in the tradition of gathering for Family Dinner. Although often all that were present were They and I, the family was always welcome. The staple entree was always Baked Bottom Round Roast Beef.

KBP’s Savory “Booo! Hooo! Spook“O”TI-OH’s”
Some history first before we go into my version of things. This classic “Spooktaclular” is named after the shape that has brought smiles to kids’ mouths for half a century. With 125 millions cans sold each year, it’s no surprise this simple, affordable pasta dish has been a family favorite for four generations of Americans.
