Not Gonna Happen
Dear Psycho, Sorry to burst your bubble but no one cares how you feel. Guess what? The world does not revolve around you. You have successfully ruined relationships with 2 of your 4 children. You have treated us badly for the last time. Stop throwing yourself a pity party. You are a grown-ass adult. It is not my job to take care of you when you're sick. I don't see you helping me when I'm sick. And I have to get up and take care of a child.

7 Rules That Will Help You Educate an Honest Child
All children lie. If this happens rarely, you shouldn't be alarmed. But if lying becomes a habit, you need to intervene. When addressing the reason why your child is lying, consider the age, circumstances, and reasons for the lie, and how often this behavior occurs. For example, many children under the age of 6 cannot yet make a clear distinction between fantasy and reality, and "lying" can be an expression of their imagination. At the same time, a 4-year-old can tell a lie to avoid a problem or to get what he wants.

Is having some mom time selfish?
We’ve heard it all, and we’ve probably mentioned all of them. The year comes to an end, and we think about everything we didn’t get to do or achieve. Then, we promise ourselves that this year will be different. I worked for years in fitness centers and every new year, people get back to the same resolutions over and over. I will lose that 30lbs that I didn’t lose for the past 3 years, I will quit smoking for the 10th time, I will spend more time outside, I will eat more healthy, I will go to bed earlier, I will finish the project I started, I will get a new job or quit the one that is making me miserable, and you probably heard even more.

In the End, We Were Champions
Here’s a photo. Two hands, one over the other. Intimate. Each hand wearing a mammoth ring. Identical rings. And that snapshot is a moment in time, a moment captured, because at least one of the owners of those hands believes that it could be the last time for those hands, together, one over the other.

A Moment Longer
She had felt the draw, that longing deep in her being for days now. It had been that ever-present churning within her since the day she had heard the old farm was being sold. Before this landmark in her life traded hands, her heart demanded that she take a moment, a day and return to her country roots. She longed for a few hours at least to step back in time to remember and relive the road she’d already traveled, before embarking on the exciting adventures the new year was sure to bring. With a few days off over the 2021 Holidays from her normal, non-stop schedule, she chose New Year’s Eve to make the journey. It seemed a fitting way to close the year with a walk down memory’s lane.
