The mixer and the blender
This is a story of two appliance cousins a blender and a stand-up mixer. The blender seems to think that he is the better of the two, and the mixer says that he is. Who's is better? The blender can combine, blend, crush, etc., but the mixer says that he can do that to, and he can do a lot more in his bowl that you, the blender can do in that pitcher of yours. Then why doesn't your owner ever bring you out more often other than holidays? asked the blender. Good question the stand mixer wondered as well.

Happy Halloween!!!!
On Halloween Day one still has to be careful. Out walking her dog, she thought she heard some sort of noise. She hunched over her dog looking out from behind him. He was flinching yet but the look in his eyes he knew something was not right. The woman and dog starting to stand up straight and decided to walk but a quicker pace, but the feeling was not leaving. She looked around and around to make sure no body was behind. All of sudden it was eerily quiet and she wondered is this it to her dog, her friend.

The Toxicity of Hustle Culture
Another dream that did not reach its fruition, another soul that was shattered by its externality. It is heartbreaking to hear the recent news about a dynamic young professional , Anna Perayil, living in Pune, from EY who took her life due to extreme work pressure and a toxic workplace environment.

Winnie Meets Paddington
Okay, what would happen if Winnie met Paddington on a seesaw? Well, here it goes. Here we go up and down, up and down, says Pooh. Yes, we certainly are up and down, says Paddington. It is almost time for a break, Paddington told Pooh. Why don't we stop the seesaw and have a snack that we can share. Okay, Pooh said. I hope you like marmalade. I hope you like honey. They both said at the same time. They sat on a log and had their snack. They rested and headed back to the seesaw to have more fun.

The Curtain
Hello there. I am a beige curtain hanging from a window that has shutters on the outside. I believe the window is open, but there is not a draft to be felt. Oh, so I like to wave in the wind. It is such a nice feeling, and it shakes off the dust that accumulates so fast. I thought that shutters would keep some of the dust outside. Hey, I am right here, and I try but when I am open how I am supposed to do what you want. Cut me a break. Maybe they will shut me nightly.

Oprah CRASHES Meghan's speech
In a surprising twist, Meghan Markle has made headlines once again, this time for her involvement in a new bookstore inauguration. Recently, Meghan has been popping up at various public events, particularly those tied to her favorite topic—books. As an avid book lover myself, it's hard to criticize anyone for promoting reading. But when Meghan is involved, there always seems to be more than meets the eye.

The Typewriters
Typewriters are still wonderful tools if you like a slower pace for writing, but some typewriters kind of have a life of their own. Old manual ones have that clickety-clack when typing then there came what was known as a Selectric typewriter that still clickety-clicked just a little bit faster with a lighter touch. The manual typewriter looked over to the Selectric typewriter and said in his way "What's your hurry?" "You got to move fast in this world if you want to make it." Selectric said. We typewriters must look out for we will become obsolete one day soon.

The Chalkboard
What is a blackboard or some would call a chalkboard? This is an object that is in many classrooms at all levels and there are even some in many homes for many reasons. The chalkboard is a means of communication that shows the written word along with the spoken word, as it is a visual aid to the teacher to share a lesson on many subjects. Did we way back when really listen to what the teacher said or wrote on the board and learned what we needed to survive when we grew into adulthood. Just think for a minute.

The library
Oh, the world of books when one enters this to me a sacred place. It is a place of wonder. The librarian is the person that can lead you on this incredible journey of learning or just to have fun in picking up a book. When one picks up a book at the suggestion of the librarian at times there is a sense of belonging and understanding of one's interests. There are tables and comfortable chairs for once you find that book of interest you enter a new world of learning and/or a way to have fun and relax too.

The Snowy Road
There was a snowy road that is not traveled very much for the bend in the road leads to a steep downhill grade. When one travels this road, one begins to think why is it here it really does not lead anywhere. It was here for a purpose in the past we all think that it was one route for a stagecoach route for it did lead to an old town that is not there anymore except for one falling down shack that no one knows what it was used for then. So, travel safe along this road of history.
