The Chalkboard

Drabble

What is a blackboard or some would call a chalkboard? This is an object that is in many classrooms at all levels and there are even some in many homes for many reasons. The chalkboard is a means of communication that shows the written word along with the spoken word, as it is a visual aid to the teacher to share a lesson on many subjects. Did we way back when really listen to what the teacher said or wrote on the board and learned what we needed to survive when we grew into adulthood. Just think for a minute.

I love chalkboards as I grew up with them in school. They are now being removed, however, to be replaced by dry erase boards. Hard to believe.....
