The Typewriters

Drabble

Typewriters are still wonderful tools if you like a slower pace for writing, but some typewriters kind of have a life of their own. Old manual ones have that clickety-clack when typing then there came what was known as a Selectric typewriter that still clickety-clicked just a little bit faster with a lighter touch. The manual typewriter looked over to the Selectric typewriter and said in his way "What's your hurry?" "You got to move fast in this world if you want to make it." Selectric said. We typewriters must look out for we will become obsolete one day soon.

Wonderful little bit of writing on something that's nearly obsolete these days. I loved using a typewriter back in the day.

A lesson on typewriters mixed in with a conversation between them, very fun read. Thank you for taking the time to write it.
