There was a snowy road that is not traveled very much for the bend in the road leads to a steep downhill grade. When one travels this road, one begins to think why is it here it really does not lead anywhere. It was here for a purpose in the past we all think that it was one route for a stagecoach route for it did lead to an old town that is not there anymore except for one falling down shack that no one knows what it was used for then. So, travel safe along this road of history.

The House
There was an old house sitting out in the country. It hasn't been lived in for quite some time. Some say it was owned by a woman that just couldn't let go of it. Over the years the doors fell off and the windows broke and they fell out. The yard became overgrown and turned brown along with the tree that stood out front even withered and died. The women owner still did not want to give up the house of where she grew up. If you look through the open windows and doors, you will see a family picture.

One of my dreams is to play with snow. However, in my land or area, there is only hot weather.

Oh, this is very philosphical and with a nice touch of mystery and intrigue...there are lots of roads like that...really old roads that don't seem to have a modern use or purpose. Well written, Mark!
